Although the fortifications in Signaghi do still almost completely encircle the city, you can only actually walk along a small section of the walls. If you have a head for heights and good balance, you can climb to the top of one of the towers for views like these. The view is spectacular. The venue has an amazing family feel to it, a bit of a climb from Sighnaghi town, but well worth it. Definitely heading back there in a couple of years.
