"We don’t understand why there are some medium reviews about this place; it is such a beautiful eco resort, lovely surroundings, great staff, you have a view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool, there are friendly monkeys and other sorts of beautiful animals around. The staff is very polite and helpful, they arranged us a transfer for the early morning climb. The included breakfast was very extensive and delicious, the dinner is not best but not bad either. The atmosphere is lovely, so it’s worth eating there. But the village is so close, you can just walk there and eat in one of the restaurants as well, so it’s not a big issue. We definitely recommend a stay here if you’re visiting the rock!!!"

"Really enjoyed our short 2 days in Sigiriya - absolutely lovely hotel and amazing grounds. We really enjoyed the breakfast, all the staff were very nice and helpful. The spa was amazing as well - lovely massages and products on offer. Villa was stunning and very serene, the pool was amazing. The grounds have lots of wildlife and nature that’s very cool to see! The only thing we found a bit funny and awkward was that we weren’t able to invite our friend who was showing us round Sri Lanka to the villa to discuss our day plans. We were told this was against policy but I had a look online and it’s not in the terms and conditions on the website that guests aren’t allowed, nor was this highlighted when we booked so just felt a bit unnecessary.
