"We had the most enjoyable time relaxing in the middle of a serene location and with a wonderful home to spread out in. Plenty of space for games, dinners, and sleeping quarters. Close to local shopping, yet still in the desert with a feel of being in nature at its best. Unique views landscape and plenty of local wildlife sights and sounds to enhance the experience. Owners were very gracious, met us for check-in and provided a nice welcome overview to get settled in. Great place to stay. "

"The best thing about The Bunkhouse is the location. Many different trails in the National park can be accessed within only a 4 to 14 minute drive. I think we hiked or ran them all! WE LOVED Saguaro West and were happy to see the saguaros in bloom! This mobile home was a good size for 2, with one of us using the bedroom and the other using the living room . Apparently (according to my 24 year old daughter) the pull out bed from the couch was not very comfortable, as one might expect, so I wouldn’t want to sleep on it for more than a week. The bed in the bedroom was great, though. Nice to be able to use the owner’s pool area, and to have easy parking. We never even tried turning on the tv’s. We felt very safe and welcome here. Oh, be sure to stop for groceries at the first WalMart you see after leaving the airport because shopping near The Bunkhouse is very limited. If you’re looking for a peaceful, no-frills and affordable place to stay that is near the national park… The Bunkhouse is it! P.S. No need to set a morning alarm. The goofy birds (hooded orioles?) will wake you up by frantically pecking on all your windows EVERY morning during the hour of sunrise! "

"We had a wonderful few days at the No Pants Ranch, staying with family and then hosting a wedding celebration! My family loved the decoration and style of the house and the owners could have been more helpful with our preparations for our event. The housekeeper even let us view the property early so we could better plan for our celebration, something a lot of places would not have done! We can't recommend this place enough!"

"The house had great views, spacious rooms, was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen.And was so quiet and peaceful. The location was perfect for us, very close to Saguaro NP.Jim was very easy to contact and very kind to leave the lights on for us since we arrived after dark. Would definitely stay again next time we visit."

"Ideal spot for exploring Saguaro National Park! A nonbusy trailhead is only a mile away. The casita is comfortable with a full kitchen and a clean private hot tub. Jim is a friendly, responsive host. We enjoyed the desert landscape, birds and stars."
