Very special stay

It was a beautiful stay. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and i have contacted the resort beforehand to ask if they can make our dinner a little bit more special and we were surprised by the most beautiful dinner on the beach. Everything was so special. The rest of our stay was met by the mist friendliest, kind and respectful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel on the beach. Beautiful sand and water for swimming. Hotel has a really great pool, pool bar and restaurant. Good choice of breakfast included. Other bars and restaurants close by. Had a couple of minor issues but the staff were excellent and were quick to fix. Booked for 1 week but extended for another!

Cambodia Tour

Nice hotel. Chalets are a bit small but that's ok with me. It has all you need and would expect. Bear in mind it's on an island with limited facilities. Great pool area and right on the beach. Other beaches are walkable within about 30 minutes or so of hotel. Lots of bars and restaurants to the left and right of hotel, all along the beach. Very close to the ferry jetty. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Getting back to genuine Asia.

A very Nice place to stay at. Just at the water. Great food and comfortable room. There are something to wish for, but it’s Cambodia. Little laid back and relaxed attitude. Just love it.

Sara resort was a great place to stay. Beach front property. Food was good. Rooms clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful view. The only negative was Mic The designated tour and island information guy. Misleading. Claims to have been on the island 13 years yet locals say he just arrived. Speaks no Khmer. No information on other island. Led us to a walk to the beach which was unmarked and we got lost and I wished for more honesty and upfront with his knowledge. Disappointing and we just wondered why and what the purpose was for him to mislead info about his knowledge of island. We caught on quick. Go stay at Sara resort for sure but don’t waste time with mic!

Koh Rong Sanloem is an amazing island - beautiful and chilled out. Sara Resort is located near to other restaurants etc in Saracen Bay. The resort staff were super friendly. Prices in the restaurant were more expensive than other local eating places, but the food was good. The pool and pool area were fantastic, with plenty of loungers. We had a budget AC room. Shower was good and air conditioning was ok. Mattress was super firm though, which meant uncomfortable nights sleep - they could do with either purchasing proper mattress toppers or memory foam mattresses. I asked for a topper and was given an extra duvet, which did little to make it comfortable. A shame, as that was the only negative to our stay.

Great stay, good resort

We had a lovely few days here. Very friendly welcome, management very visible throughout our stay. Right on the beach, excellent value for money and a good free breakfast included. This is an island, it is more basic, but it is a very good value for money hotel

Nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The location isn’t amazing though, since the beachfront is quite small (very small to enjoy actually) and it is very dirty on that side of the island. Breakfast food is decent too.

The resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food are also delicious and so are the drink. Especially, you enjoy happy hour bring during and after dinner. They also have a nice pool as well. The room are clean and nices.

If you are looking for a little off the beatten path then this is your place. They had a large menu of local and western food and a nice bar selection. Rooms are basic but clean. The restraunt is beach front.

Location was great. Rooms were on the small size compared to our other stays in Cambodia. Good happy hours and fire shows. Food was a bit more expensive than other places on the beach but only a dollar or 2

I loved my stay at Sara. I had 2 nights booked and extended it another night. Rooms were clean but one of my shelves was falling. The staff were all generous and kind. Check in, servers, housekeeping were all seemed to go out of their way.

Perfect stay in paradise

The Sara Resort had newly opened when I arrived for my 4-nights stay. Staff was great and while getting used to the new processes they were all very friendly and caring. The manager Ben himself was also present at all times to ensure every guest was happy. The bungalow was beautiful and exactly as displayed in the photos. Location was great, too, right at Saracen beach - you can’t get closer to paradise. One tip: take the speed boat with “buva” to get there - it’s faster and stops at the pier which is much closer to the resort.

Fantastic stay! Great restaurant on site, bbq available in addition to wide menu selection every night. A la carte breakfast included lots to choose from. We had a cabana which wasn’t huge but if you are organized there is plenty of space. Bonus that the pool opened two weeks prior to our arrival, was a nice surprise. Front desk staff super helpful in booking our transportation forward to our next destination. Restaurant staff clearly well trained in customer service. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great place just for the swim.

Place is very good, staff very polite and pool very clean, but apart of this I can be say same things for the food. Mouldy tasted pizza, steamed red snapper on the grill, cold served cappuccino warmed at microwave. Guys, you put to many staff but nobody controlling how good the quality of the food. Please... just for the food I stayed one night. Everything is great, but where is the quality?

Wonderful resort! The room was spacious and clean with nice complimentary toiletries. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of dishes. Included breakfast also had great options. The front desk can book any tours directly which is easy and helpful. I can’t say enough about the amazing staff:) every interaction I had was pleasant and professional, I felt like the whole team genuinely cared how my stay was going and if I needed any assistance. The paths to Lazy and Sunset beach are right next to the hotel and easy to navigate. The resort also offered pickup and drop off at the ferry pier with luggage assistance. 10/10 from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.
