They were well behaved but the key point is they could have stayed elsewhere. So, the motel is a good value. The hotel has conference rooms, a restaurant and lounge. These are a bit dated and could stand some upgrades"

"Very quaint property and the location was awesome, just steps away from downtown. The views from the rear deck were spectacular as we spent the evening watching the barges move up and down the river. The house is attractively decorated and equipped for comfort. I highly recommend the La Belle River House to anyone visiting the area and look forward to a return trip soon."
