Ski Retreat for first tracks and a central location! Private Hot Tub!

One of the best locations on the mountain! A short but steep ski/walk out straight to the Silver Woods Chair on the Skiway between Tube Town and the Village. After a busy day on the slopes take a quick hike back to the house and warm up in our hot tub and relax by the fireplace while enjoying snow covered trees and eastern sky views.

Easy level parking leads to an upper boot and equipment storage room, heading down from here we have laundry and more equipment storage and out to the slopes. The main floor living area is perfect for lounging, playing games and dining together. The upper level holds 3 bedrooms and a second bathroom.

** NEW HOT TUB 2022** Located right outside the front door.

** 7 night minimum over Christmas.

This vacation property is suitable to be shared by 2 couples with children/young teens or one large family with a maximum of 6 adults. There are 2 parking spots and storage in the equipment rooms for all of your winter equipment.

Summer Bookings: Our hot tub will still be running. 6 bikes can be stored during the summer in the lower and upper equipment rooms.

Our friends manage the basement suite. Contact us if you need to accommodate another family. There is one security camera over looking the end of the driveway from one of the upstairs windows. This is mostly for snow plow checks.

Cozy, Clean, Best Ski-In Ski-Out

It was our second stay at this property and, again, it was great. The place is really well set up for a ski vacation, with an ideal ski-out, and in, beautiful views, a private hot tub, everything very clean, plus decorated beautifully for Christmas, which we loved. The place is very comfortable, and really feels like a home, which is so nice during the holidays. The owners were excellent with communication, and we can't wait to return. Thank you!

Went to Vernon to mountain bike. Great location to the bike park. Place was clean and comfortable. Hosts quick to respond. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect Accomodations

The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, it was wonderful having a washing machine, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was a bonus! The trailside location was perfect for us. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Silver Star March Break 2023

Simply put we had a great time both at the mountain and at the property. We could not have asked for a better location or for a better property to stay at. We will for sure be booking with Sara again upon our return to Silver Star.

Awesome little house with 3 bedroom. Very clean and looked to be recently renovated, very friendly hosts. Check in process was online and good communication. We loved our stay and hope to book it again in the future

Great location

We enjoyed staying here with its great location near the top of Silver Woods chair. Easy walk or ski to village. Hosts provided lots of information and made the whole process very easy. Hot tub was much appreciated. We hope to stay here again next time in Silverstar.

Great location to access Silver Star mountain biking. Really appreciate being able to put our bikes inside when we weren't riding. Super convenient to have kitchen and laundry facilities and online streaming options on tv too. Comfortable beds and lots of towels and hot water - for showers after biking and hanging at the beach on hot days. Really enjoyed our stay!

Home away from it all

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!! Beautiful, comfortable place to stay and great hosts! They provided everything we could need. It was so clean and the hot tub was amazing!! It was nice being up at the Silverstar Resort are and away from the busy town of Vernon. Would definitely come here again! Look no further, book it now!!

Comfortable stay, great location

Everything was as listed, comfortable beds and living room furniture. Kitchen well equipped with some starter basics for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, few spices). A variety of games and puzzles. Out the back door and down a short trail right to the ski way (multi purpose for walking to Village or snowshoe too). Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was Great!

The place was awesome! Able to just hop on our bikes and hit the hill! Super clean and fully equipped! Mattresses were very comfy and like new! Hot tub was perfect after a long day of fun! Very easy to communicate with owners and so very kind!

Wonderful Silver star!

We always enjoy the skiing at Silver Star and this accommodation enabled us to have a wonderful time again. The location is great both for skiing and accessing the village and snow shoe trails. Loved the ski storage set up and easy access down to Silver Woods. Well equipped; comfortable and spacious. As an extended family group this accommodation worked really well and we do hope to be able to return. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fantastic 1 Month Stay

We had a great 1 month stay at Silverstar at this property. The owners took very good care of us and you can see the care they have for their home on the hill. Very clean, great furnishings, beds, kitchen - all above our expectations. Ski out could not be better - right at the top of the lift - you can be skiing within 5 min of leaving the chalet. Internet was great - we could manage 2 video conferences. Owners were very responsive to questions and needs and did a lot of extra snow removal and garbage removal for us. No hassle arrival and checkout. Would recommend and stay again!

Mountain get away

We had a relaxing stay for the long weekend. It was comfortable and the area and views were spectacular! Host was quick to respond to my questions. Really high up in the mountains with a dark winding road up to it. No lights on this road up to the rental area so wouldn’t recommend night driving if you’re unfamiliar with the area. More lights up the mountain road would definitely be a great addition! We will definitely refer friends and family coming to Vernon to this rental.

MTB buddies had a good time

Place is perfect homebase for being outdoors -with laundry, a hose for washing stuff, plenty of storage, and of course the hot tub for healing broken bodies after a long day. The thick and spotless carpet inside is a bit intimidating for dirty mountain bikers (though is awesome on the feet), but just needs a bit of care on your part to keep it clean (easy to do with a spacious front mudroom and access to basement storage from outside). 100% would want to come back next year! Thanks

This was a wonderful property to stay in during our visit to Silver Star Bike Park and around Vernon BC. The house has everything we needed including secure and ample storage for our bikes and gear. The location was a short bike/walk to the main village and really convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet during our stay. The hot tub was a bonus after a long day of riding bikes. A perfect base for the bike park and visiting nearby trails at Predator Ridge and Kalamalka Lake. Sara and Brent gave great instructions and communication. We hope to visit again soon.
