If you want to stay in Silverton...this is the place. Simple, clean, great location, plenty of character! If you expect a Hampton inn...stay in Durango. If you want to experience Silverton and the culture and history...stay at the Bent Elbow and visit the bar downstairs, and the Shady lady next door for Karaoke on Friday nights, and walk the epic streets and shops. Visit the Bear Cafe and the Handlebar restaurant.

We had a great stay at the Bent Elbow Hotel in Silverton. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything worked as expected. While the property does not offer many amenities and there is no on-site staff, the self-check-in and check-out process was very simple and convenient. The instructions were clear, access to the room was easy, and the entire process was hassle-free. The location is excellent for exploring Silverton and the surrounding area. Overall, a comfortable and straightforward place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for travelers who value convenience, cleanliness, and an easy check-in experience.

The room was clean, and the overall environment was good. However, the bathroom door did not lock, which was inconvenient. Also, the noise levels at night were quite disturbing, as even normal footsteps and other unexplained sounds made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

I was first attracted to The Bent Elbow Hotel by the old western style appearance. All previous reviews were spoke highly of this Hotel. The room was very inviting and comfortable. The beds and pillows were so awesome. Slept like a baby. Shower was nice and warm or hot, if you prefer hot. The staff responded immediately to any of my questions and were very courteous. We truly loved the place and would stay again if ever up that way.

Great stay for a night. The bed was comfortable, and the room was a good size for one person. The closet was a great size for hanging clothes and jackets. There was live music in the restaurant below, but that ended at 9pm and didn't interfere with sleeping. I did think the room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner as I saw a couple of hairs and it was clear the walls in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while (splatter marks from toothpaste, etc.). However, I'd stay again.

The location of this property was excellent. There was a long staircase up to the rooms. Knowing this, we took only what was necessary to our room. The restaurant downstairs was the perfect selection.

Stayed in the Bordello room. Balcony has a beautiful view of the mountains, the old red light district, and was great for people watching and drinking coffee. There is a restaurant/bar below hotel, but wasn’t overly loud. Bartender was very personable and makes great drinks. Only negative is there didn’t seem to be any air-conditioning in the room.

Great stay, the bed was the most comfortable we had on this vacation and the pillows were great. There was no check in process, they e-mail the room code and you just go on in. Also no check out as there is no front desk and the restaurant/bar downstairs was not open when we left early. Not much room for luggage if you have kids and are using both beds.
