This is an exceptional property in the beautiful Black Forest. It is a newer property with good sized comfortable rooms, an exceptional breakfast, and great hiking within steps of the hotel. I also appreciated how close it was to the train station. Highly recommend.

Great quite location, close to the train station but better if you have a car

Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head.

Great restaurant and decoration in every space

The room is spacious and the hotel’s got a big parking garage. It takes us 15 -20 minutes to walk to the center. It’s good opportunity to get our steps in.

There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

Hotel Sonne was fantastic. The hotel itself is in the typical area style, beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Extremely clean. The location is very good. Directly in the town center and local attractions ie hiking, etc. within a few minutes drive. The staff made us feel at home. The restaurant is a top rated restaurant in Germany.

Ich war jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal hier und liebe es einfach. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Das Hotel liegt außerdem in der Nähe einer Bushaltestelle, von der aus man direkt in die Innenstadt kommt. 10/10 – absolut empfehlenswert!
