"My choice in choosing a property comes down to the location. Is it walkable to dining and sites, what other reviewers are currently saying about the property and is it locally owned. I chose Baker’s Suites over all the other hotels in the area for simply those reasons. My front desk ladies, Ms. Latoya you were AWESOME our entire time there and you represent Baker’s Suites on another level. Ms. Shanay, your kindness towards each and every guest was nothing short of impeccable customer service. We stayed in the partial oceanview room with King bed and the room did not disappoint. Restaurants in short walking distance of the hotel, beach right across the street which I enjoyed the clear calm waters every single morning of my trip(no crowds). "

"The hotel was super clean and the grounds were beautiful… very well taken care of. Housekeeping only comes once during your stay (on Mondays) While we would have preferred daily the hotel is more than happy to provide you with anything that you need in the meantime. We had a minor issue with a bad sewage smell, that was in the hallway outside our room. The manager took the time to address it, provide a timeline and did improve the situation, which we greatly appreciated. The location is great, but you will definitely need to rent a car to get around. Also, be careful driving up…there are some major potholes on the road leading to the hotel (not the hotels fault, just a heads up) All in all, we were really happy with our stay. The service was excellent, everyone was so kind, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!"

"No glitz straight beach is how I can describe my stay. Amazing location, clean rooms, pharmacy not too far, and restaurants at walking distance. The owner Mike lives on the property so if you need anything just ask. The only thing that I think my room was missing was a few usb charging ports and an iron. If you’re tired, you’re mind is always running, and you just need a place to relax, this is definitely the hotel for you. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family. "
