Sinaia is a beautiful town, with loads to do and a great atmosphere and very nice restaurants. The mountains are amazing and great for walking, the castles are great as was the casino in the park. Our host and accommodation was excellent and would not hesitate to visit/stay again.

Busteni bottlenecks traffic for miles. If you want to use Sinaia as base and explore towards Brasov/Bran/Rasnov, it will be painful, but with good planning it can be done. Still, Sinaia is definitely the most elegant of the resort towns in the area.
