Although there was about 18-min walk to the nearest train station, we had a great stay. We originally booked the one bedroom suite but was upgraded to the two bedroom suite so there was plenty of room for 3 people. Accommodation and linens were clean, beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms, mini kitchen and washer-dryer combo made it very convenient. There are also shops and restaurants downstairs and nearby. Staff was attentive to our needs and inquiries.

The surrounding atmosphere is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There is also a great collaboration with the hotel, offering guest discounts. The room is quite spacious and includes a stovetop and sink, making it convenient for preparing or heating up simple meals. A washer-dryer combo unit is also provided, which is very handy—though it takes a long time to complete a cycle and can be rather noisy. The sofa and carpet in the room were not very clean, and the picture quality of the TV was poor.

Having the grocery store , restaurants and a few stores on the lower level made it very easy to prepare meals, get take out or simply dine out within the facility.

We liked the firm bed, responsive and helpful staff, quiet neighborhood, supermarket on the ground floor, and plenty of restaurants including an upmarket food court within New Bahru itself. We didn't like that the hotel did not provide some typical hotel amenities like room slippers and dental kits. The location is around a kilometer away from the nearest train stations and sits on a hilly area of the city which made walks to and from bus stops a bit of a trek. Overall, we liked our stay and would consider booking again.

First of all great location, it’s central, easy to walk to various public transport stops. It’s based in a very lively area, you have a supermarket downstairs, a bunch of cafes on prem and within a short walk. Good gyms nearby as well The hotel has good partnerships, hence, it provides you with discounts for eating and workout. The staff is amazing, very accommodating WiFi is decent There is a spacious and comfy lounge in the reception if you need to work. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped Just a few small things to consider in case this is important to you: 1) it’s Singapore, so humidity is high and the smell for allergic people might be a problem . However , the staff is amazing and will help you find a better room 2) the walls are a bit thin, so we did hear music from the other room, but it will calm down by 11-midnight Otherwise, definitely highly recommended. Great location, good staff, good value, spacious rooms fully equipped

The room was very clean. It was a little bare inside with no decorations. Also the kitchen was pretty minimal although adequate. Would have liked a coffee maker. But overall it was fairly good.

Its located in the area and the building is shared with other establishments. Location is prime, everything is just downstairs, grocery, restaurants and even shopping. But early morning can get loud if your room is close to the center and by the window, you’ll hear delivery trucks unloading everything. I requested to get the room switched but since theyre full house they were not able to accommodate my request. It was fine atleast they checked. Over all everything was good.

Spacious clean room with a small kitchenette and added bonus of a washer dryer. For an extended stay it had all we needed. It is unconventionally located in a refurbished secondary school but this added to its charm. There are restaurants, shops and a supermarket just downstairs but room is quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful.

e stayed for about a week with four people, two children and two adults. The staff is very nice and helpful and extremely pleasant. The stay in a stylish yet functional room was very comfortable and I hope to use it again during my next stay in Singapore.

We enjoyed our stay at Alma, very clean and the family room we booked had lots of room. Great bathroom and bedrooms. Quite a way from MTR but they do offer a free shuttle.
