The hotel rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. I had a problem with the AC as it was making weird noises and also a lamp in the roof was turning on and off. Except from this I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is great as is in walking distance to attractions, malls and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Good stay in central Singapore

Well located hotel in central Singapore. Room is basic and small, but you get all you need for a short stay. Bed could be longer though. Stafg friendly, and silence over night.

Excellent location and a very good place to explore Singapore. Was able to walk to most places. For travellers who just need a place to sleep and will be out most of the day. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. It is value for money in that it is affordable and in a good location therefore it is no surprise that it is dated and not the cleanest.

Fix the A/C otherwise ok

The A/C underperforms - it works but the room temperature is never lowered. Very hot. Fix the A/C Otherwise a very good hotel

Room 402 AirCon was not working at 5pm when we checked in. Staff said impossible & asked us to wait 15min, then waited 1/2 and then waited 2 hours before they finally came up to check. Took another 1-2 hours before finally agreed for us to change the room to 302 at 11pm. This is 6 hours wait after a 20 hour flight in a non air conditioned room & we were sweating like crazy before allowing us to change room. Also the room is significantly smaller than Bencoolen Hotel around the corner at the same rate.

This room is exactly as advertised - it is definitely a very small room. I just about managed to fit in my large suitcase. There is air con in the room, but something I hadn't considered - because the room is very small, the air con sounds really noisy, but the air con is definitely needed. In the mornings, there were midges in the shower which I had to shower hose out everyday - pretty grim. I then realised there were quite a few in the lift etc so I didn't bother complaining to staff. There were about 5-10 every morning. The location of this hotel is excellent - that was pretty much the only highlight of staying here. If you can cope with being in a small room then go for it. It was one of my regret buys of my trip - it wasn't for me - but I coped for 3 days!
