You get what you pay for. Beds have no privacy, blanket is incredibly thin, there's little to no sound isolation, and to be honest the rooms smell kind of bad. Lots of disrespectful backpacker-type tourists, many of whom don't respect the rules (including taking off shoes). Would like to see rules better enforced, but it seems they don't have the staff for it. The good things are proximity to bus station and some decent restaurants nearby. They have drinks for purchase that are very reasonably priced as well. There are better places to stay at nearby for similar prices but much better quality, particularly near Arab Street.

i really enjoyed my stay at lavender. first the hostel is near an MRT station. the staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast is included, you have an area to put your shoes, have computer area, a kitchen, the bathroom is clean, and there is a nice rooftop. I definitly recommand this hostel for anyone

I stayed at Rucksack inn for 4 nights. The staff is super nice and helpful. Also, there is free coffee and tea all day. The location is nice, it's very easy to get to mist sights. Unfortunately the room I booked did have any window and so as a dorm for 10 people it had kind of a weird smell to it. For the time I stayed there, somebody here obviously was using a lot of tiger balm which made it even worse for me :) I definetly would return to Rucksack Inn but next time I'll ask for a room with a window ;)

I used 4four bedroom, breakfast was free, bread, watermelon orange, and softdrinks, the fruits was good, there were a lot of different foreigner. 4인실이였고 룸에 개인라커룸이 없는게 아쉬웠다. 화장실이 2개뿐이였고 바퀴벌레가 있어서 직접 잡았음. 샤워룸은 3~4개였다. 넉넉하지는 않지만 크게 불편하지는 않앗음. 교통은 매우 편리했었다 . 시설은 대충 눈치껏 잘 사용하면 됨. 에어컨은 빵빵하고 잘때 추 울 수 있다.

Other guests were really noisy, they come back late in the middle of the night and were loud when moving around in the room. They woke up early and 5 am and did not have the courtesy to stay quiet. I think the staff should emphasize strongly to all guest not to be loud and disturb other guests, especially in the bunk area.

有免費wifi與電腦可以使用，速度很快，是個很大的優點。 免費早餐為吐司配果醬，有五種果醬可以選，還有免費的茶和咖啡，是個省錢的好選擇。 洗衣服無法自助，一次10元新幣，交給員工，會洗完烘乾再還回來，還會幫忙摺好。 二樓走廊地板總是充滿灰塵，公共空間也是 只有一樓比較乾淨，住二樓走一圈完腳都是沙，看到有些住客甚至員工在室內也是直接穿拖鞋走來走去，要求客人脫鞋子，結果自己穿鞋。 房間沒有自己的插頭，要充電非常不方便，只能拔掉電燈的插座才能充電，床架很低，無法直立坐在床上，會撞到頭。 剛開始門鎖壞了，每次都要開很久才能進房，過了六天後終於換了新鎖，才能自由進出房間。 走廊或鞋櫃區有放芳香精油，消除異味，前幾天沒放時，味道真的很可怕。 廁所走廊掛滿大家的衣服，看起來環境很髒，建議可以有一個曬衣區，才不會大家丟的到處都是，廁所也總是充滿尿騷味，乾淨度不大好。 洗澡的淋浴間很大，也很乾淨，每次退房，員工都會換床單與被子，可以安心的睡。

Best hostel!

Had a wonderful experience at Rucksack Inn @ Lavender. The rooms and beds were clean and the staff were very friendly, just like the fellow guests. During my stay at Rucksack, my worst nightmare about travelling happened- I got my time of the month and I had stained the sheets- yet the staff were very accommodating and understanding of my situation and had everything cleaned and replaced immediately. Cannot even express how thankful I was to them for that.

J'ai dormi dans un dortoir mixte de 14 lits, pour 2 nuits. Lors de mon séjour, l'air climatisée de la chambre était brisée et dégoutait pour sur le sol. Il fait chaud et très humide dans la chambre, pas très agréable. Cela a terni mon experience, mais sinon, l'ambiance à l'auberge est agréable. Je la recommande! Il y a une aire commune à la réception et une autre sur le toit, assez grande avec sofa et tables. Les douches et toilettes au 1er sont correctes. Celles au rez-de-chaussée, moins pratiques car elles sont mixtes et il y a peu d'espace pour accrocher nos choses à l'intérieur de la douche sans les mouiller. Le service est bien, les employés sont gentils et aidants.

The facility has a very confusing layout, despite signage trying to direct you where to go. Problem is the signs blend into the wall and are hidden amongst many other competing notices and rules. Signs avertising food and drinks are also outdated with wrong prices. I felt like I was constantly giving direction to new arrivals, and my own orientation by staff was lacking. Space is well air-conditioned with the exception of the bathrooms. Bedrooms are mostly clean and comfortable. There is a strange electrical abnormality where each beds power source is plugged into the following bed in a chain leading to the main wall socket. So if the bed in front of you (or the next, or the next) unplugs wants an extra outlet they unplug you from their power bar. Imaging having finding your lamp doesn't work or your cell phone is not charging at 2am and you have to find out which bed in the chain unplugged you. There are also no lockers in the room. Breakfast was nice, toast with jams, peanut butter and Nutella with all day tea and coffee. Love that it runs till noon. Facility is relatively close to a major transit line that will take you to china town or the bay without transfer. Towels, shampoo

安くて快適な宿でした！部屋は14人部屋と二段ベッドが敷き詰められてますが、この価格なので別に気にならなかったです。スタッフさんも親切で、朝のパンといろんな種類のジャムが嬉しかったです。あと、ウォーターサーバーがあったので滞在中お水を買うことなく節約できました。
