Small, detached vacation home in a small family-friendly park

Update 2025: The season begins with brand-new windows, a glass-enclosed terrace front, and a new front door. The terrace has a new canopy, and the house has been further insulated throughout and clad with “zweeds rabat” Douglas fir wood paneling. Two cars may be parked in the designated parking spaces in the park. Free choice of parking spot; there are no exclusive parking spaces available for the house.<br><br>Living area: open-concept living/kitchen area with a seating area, dining table with 4 chairs plus a bench, gas heating, cozy wood pellet stove, sliding glass door<br><br>Entertainment electronics:<br>Wi-Fi (free), 47-inch TV (3D), Blu-ray player, Amazon Fire TV (Prime, Netflix, and Disney+ can be watched with your own account), German TV channels<br><br>Kitchen: Built-in kitchen with full-size oven, gas stove, microwave, large fridge-freezer combo, and dishwasher. Filter coffee maker and Nespresso machine.<br><br>Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, 1 x 140 cm x 200 cm, 1 x 140 cm x 200 cm, 1 x bunk bed with two sleeping spaces (80 cm x 190 cm); all bedrooms have individual heating controls. Bedding is not included.<br><br>Bathroom: 1 bathroom with a large shower and sink, 1 toilet (with a tilt-and-turn window starting in April 2025, separate from the bathroom)<br><br>Miscellaneous: For the little ones, there is a high chair, a fold-out changing station in the bedroom, and a handcart. There are several small playgrounds in the open areas of the park.<br><br>Patio: Wooden patio, approx. 3 m x 6.5 m. A charcoal grill and chimney starter might appeal to families—and especially the gentlemen. Table with 6 chairs, plus 2 adjustable chairs and a footstool.<br><br>Beach: The house is situated among tulip fields, about 1.2 km from the dunes and a total of 2 km from the water. The dune landscape offers numerous trails for cyclists, pedestrians, and horseback riders. Het Zwanenwater is a beautiful nature reserve with natural lakes and marshland in the middle of the dunes. The beach has fine sand, is wide, and you can choose between two beach pavilions (Noord and New Zuid)<br><br>Surroundings: You’ll find a selection of nearby attractions at kopvanholland.de/sehenswertes. Everything you need for daily life is within walking or biking distance. A supermarket (300 m), bike rental, restaurants, snack bars, a dance bar (“Dansen bij Franssen”), a swimming pool, a tennis court, and more are all right nearby. For children, in addition to the park’s own playgrounds, there are two recreational facilities. “Het Land van Fluwel Avonturenparadijs” is right across the street, and “Goudvis” features a snack bar, restaurant, and small amusement park.<br><br>Nearby towns worth visiting (Callantsoog, Petten, Camperduin, Schagen) can be reached by bike. Day trips are also made attractive to cyclists by the well-designed network of traffic junctions, where you simply follow a series of numbers. The location is ideal for families and dog owners alike. In the expansive dune areas with nature reserves, you can experience North Holland’s nature up close, and the beach is also nearby. During tulip season, the area around the house transforms into a colorful floral paradise, as the park is surrounded by tulip fields. <br><br>SCHAGEN is the nearest larger town, featuring a large shopping center, an attractive historic district, a bowling alley, and more. It offers many restaurants, an impressive central church, and various events. You’ll also find Aldi and other stores here.<br><br>CALLANTSSOOG is the next town to the north, featuring a small shopping street with souvenir and clothing stores. There’s a bakery, a butcher shop, as well as an Albert Heijn and a Blokker.
