"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"The property is lovely. Excellent location. The communication and access was brilliant. My only complaint- a minor one and why 3 stars corners a bit dusty with deceased flies and a few webs. I also think the pillows could be upgraded. Very lumpy."

"My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. The house was easy to find, impeccably clean, spacious and well laid out. Contact with the owner was easy and is very friendly. "A really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Perfectly located at the heart of Middelkerke with a 5 mins walk to the sea front and a 5 mins walk from local supermarket, bakery and butcher. With 3 large bedrooms, the property was possibly too large for 4 people."

"Very quiet location in a rural area with walks from the property. Large property well equipped with access to the garden. Really near to Brugge. The semi spiral metal stairs are a little difficult. Both double bedrooms had either restricted access to both sides of the bed or from one side only."
