"Cannot fault anything about the house and garden! Our two week stay was pure heaven. Nothing to listen to otherthan the birds plus the stunning views from the garden were wonderful. We had hot air balloons fly by on the warm dry nights. Lots of buzzards, kites, eagles etc circling on the thermals above the house. Redstarts, blackbirds etc vising the garden. The heated pool was divine with so many sun loungers it was easy to lounge hop to the next sunny spot. So many outside areas to sit and...

"The house is well proportioned, bright, airy and light. The pool is amazing, super clean and a very good size. The pool is set in an amazing garden. So the view from the balcony above is amazing, with the further view over the hills and forests below the property. Throughly enjoyed our stay and both at the house and Sarlat and the surrounding area."

"A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! Guillaume was very helpful both in the run up to our arriving and if we had any queries when we were there. Belves is a lovely town with good shops and plenty to see and can all be done on foot. "The house is very well positioned for local amenities. The local village is beautiful with a great shop and a couple of lovely restaurants. The only negative were the mosquitoes so remember some insect repellent!"

"We had a lovely stay in Julia’s beautiful house at the end of August. The house has everything you need and beautiful furniture and amazing views from the balcony. The garden is on several levels and is fun to explore! Lalinde is in the perfect location for a holiday in the Dordogne and we went canoeing, paddle boarding and cycling as well as visiting lots of local towns and markets. "Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

"This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner.
