Summer stay
The house is a new build. It was very clean and in good condition. The pool although small was clean and nice for an evening dip. There was seating outside for 6 and a kitchen table that sat 6 too. Unfortunately in the TV area there was only a single sofa, that sat 3 comfortably. There were only 2 sun loungers. There is a large roof terrace outside the upstairs bedroom but there is no furniture on it at all which is a shame as it gets the last of the evening sun. The equipment at the villa was adequate, but there were certainly no luxury touches - a single pillow each, no spares, no cushions, no throws.
Check in was old fashioned. We had to go to the office which is 15 mins drive to get the keys and again had to go back (even though it was shut) to post them through the letter box when we left.
The general area is great, 5-10 mins walk down to the lake, however, a good couple of miles to Sirmione. Definately need a car. There was a bus stop outside the development. Lots of lovely Staggios along the lake in both directions - a couple walking distance.
In summary, it is a good spot, clean and good air conditioning. It could definately do with more furniture and pillows etc. No clothes airer either. We did go in peak season so that accounts for some of the pricetag, but I personally did not feel it was worth what we paid.
