This is especially annoying when we specifically filter your listings for these as having to travel again to eat is not welcome after already having spent a day travelling and walking into the village along a main N-road at night is dangerous. The "superior" room isn't very big and the wi-fi is terrible in it. The shower light doesn't work and the nozzle is broken so sprays a single stream to the side, which we only discovered after the owner had left after checking us in. I would not recommend this place. "Lovely roadside hotel which doesn't look much from outside but is lovely once inside with a pretty courtyard, historic look, great restaurant and friendly bar. We were again allowed to park our motorcycle securely in the courtyard which is most welcome for travellers. We had a bit of a worry on arrival as there seemed to be no record of our booking which we'd made the night before through the Hotels app but a room was quickly cleaned and prepared for us."
