"We loved the house and area. Our family did not rent a car which was fine for us but you have to be willing to walk because town was about a mile and a quarter from town. One day we rented bikes and scooters. Very fun. Would recommend this house and area to all interested in the outdoors"

"This rental was by far perfect for my softball team, the host was great and she made sure we were well take care of. This weekend we had no internet or cell service when we got to Sitka but she found a way to get me to the rental and help us get squared away would recommend this rental for everyone that’s looking for some peace and quiet while enjoying the each other’s company"

"This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. Over the years, it is one of the best we have ever rented through VRBO. We hope to return! Mary in Vermont, formerly from Sitka"

"This is a wonderful apartment, very clean and convenient. The hosts were happy to accommodate our request for an early check-in. It had everything we needed, including a number of pantry and refrigerator items such as coffee, sugar, spices, mustard and mayo, etc. I found the bed to be comfortable.
