Breafast menu was fine, but would have like to have seen some dried fruit options as well as better toasters for bread.
The rooms were nice and spacious, beds comfortable for a great night's rest, and the bathroom was a better size than most we experienced so you didn't feel like you had to turn in place to move around.
It’s a great place to stay if you are looking for a small hike for an up close glacier view in the morning which is right behind the hotel. Breakfast is included which is great. They should definitely improve on the overall hygiene and room space.

Rooms are very basic, motel like but clean. And the shower had good hot water and pressure. The included breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food options but the coffee was awful! We did not eat dinner here so can’t comment on quality but prices are very high. A great location between Vik and Hofn with access to all the spectacular natural sites.
Very nice , clean , cozy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and dinner. Also you can request about alert call at night if Northern Lights appears. We experienced in one night.
Thank you guys. You are the best
The location of the hotel is phenomenal providing easy access to the national park. The hotel also has a couple of walking/hiking paths that allow for an enjoyable evening walk. The dining room provided excellent dinner options along with breakfast.
Really lovely staff and decent rooms. Breakfast was included. The prices in the restaurant are a bit higher than we expected even for iceland, but everyone was very nice. 4 stars just for cost, but a great place to stay when you're exploring the area.
This is the best hotel we found in Iceland. It is more expensive, but worth it. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. Also good food at the Bistro near the Activity Center. The rooms have lots of space, with large showers.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great. The staff was pleasant. Our room smelled like a campfire and we could here the whole conversation for a couple of hours of the couple above us.
