My partner and I stayed for a week and we had the best time! the owners of the villas were super helpful and friendly, they even gave us a lift a couple of times down to the old town. We loved the jacuzzi in our private villa and the views were amazing too. The room was clean, comfortable and overall a great stay. Will definitely recommend!

We loved the apartment and really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and lovely views. They provide a daily cleaning service, fresh towels. Some instructions for the washing machine would be helpful and note there is no tumble dryer. A word of advice - one definitely needs a car as the villa is high up in the very steep hills. Preferably a 4x4. It isn't a problem to get taxis but they are very expensive.

We couldn’t speak highly enough about Gea Villas! John was absolutely amazing and very easy to reach, he helped set up an airport transfer for when we got to the island, gave us recommendations on places to eat and see on the island, and was easy to reach had we needed anything at all. Our plane didn’t land on the island until 11 pm and we had no issues with finding our room on arrival or checking in so late. The housekeeper was amazing, we had fresh towels daily and she went as far as doing our laundry for us! The villas are pretty far up the mountain so getting a cab or uber up there did pose difficult, we ended up renting a 4 wheeler which made the week much easier. The hot tub was a nice addition to have at night, the days were very hot so if you plan to hang out at the villas during the day time spring for the rooms with the pool!

If you want to be in the middle of a party scene this place is not for you however if you crave absolute quiet, this is the perfect spot. In the day time you will only hear an occasional donkey and at night you hear crickets. The view is vast -encompassing olive and pine trees and then the sea. Truly spectacular. You see Skiathos town, the further peninsula called Punta, two more islands and then Glossa the town on the neighboring island of Skopelos. At night you see the lights of Skiathos and Glossa. In the day time you watch the boat traffic and enjoy the beautiful sea. The villa is well maintained with all the amenities for meal preparation and is immaculate. The splash pool was perfect after a day at the beach, refreshing and very clean. We had a small two seater table outside for dining overlooking the view. The owner was extremely nice and always immediately responsive. We had about 60 stairs to navigate and I have some mobility issues but there are always sturdy railings and it is well designed. The access driveway is very steep with sharp turns but it is also well designed and safe.

Everything about this property is fantastical. I’m glad I chose it and I had a wonderful stay. Room clean and tidied up daily including refreshed bowls and cutlery as needed. All the rooms are close together but give 90% illusion of privacy so that was really great as well. Bed reset was daily. The sunrise view deserves a special mention. Highly recommend and I would stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Gea Villas and stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa ‘Lo’. The villa was very modern with all the amenities you would need. It was maintained daily by John and his team who were lovely and very helpful. I could not fault our stay. Thank you so much!
