"I stayed in the Marrakech room for one night, it's amazing with a huge (2 person) spa bath in the enormous bathroom upstairs. The bath was so relaxing after a stressful few weeks. Check in and check out was smooth and the staff were brilliant. The Marrakech theme runs throughout the property, with other themed rooms reflecting cities around the world. I'm thinking about Paris next time, and no need for passports! The continental breakfast, with was excellent, was served in the main house with the option of taking it across the courtyard to the room. St Hilda's would be ideal for a romantic few nights away, or to pamper yourself alone. And did I mention bath? It's soooo relaxing😁"

"Loved the character of inside the building. It is having redecoration done but didnt intrude with stay. The room was enough and had a lovely picturesque view. The room did get very warm during the night but we judt opened the window a little. Breakfast buffet was well organised and really good. The dining room setting was really nice."

"We had a comfortable room. We slept well in the comfy bed, with lovely white cotton sheets. Thd bathroom looked like if had been recently furnished. There was a bath with overhead shower, which worked well. The tiwrld were nice white bath sheds, and a smaller one for hair drying. We had tea snd coffee making facilities Hairdryer provided. And a TV on the wall. The staff were all efficient and friendly in every area. Nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast twice , and evening meal twice. The food was very good each time. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend time near Whitby. It is conveniently located near a big Sainsbury’s supermarket, and a Lidl. It took us around 25 mins to walk into Whitby. But we took a taxi one time. And drive ourselves too. "
