This is a newer place. So everything is in beautiful shape. It is on a farm location that adds character to the place. Staff great, wonderful breakfast.

This place is really designed to be very aesthetic and look great in pictures, but functionally, it was terrible. Several small things added up to make a really crummy experience. First, the room was sweltering hot. They have no temperature control and didn’t even have a fan to offer us. They recommended we “open the door, it opens really wide”. The sun was just beating down through the door and it didn’t help at all, but it did let in the flies. This property is teeming with flies, they were everywhere. In our room, all over the food, everywhere. I can also appreciate some country smells, but this place just reeked of manure, it was this pervasive, pungent, fetid stink that was there in the room, in the restaurant, at the breakfast buffet. There was no refrigerator, which really bummed us out, we had purchased milk and snacks that needed to be refrigerated. We have stayed in multiple hotels all over Norway and this one was our least favorite, and the only one to not have a fridge. A space cooler, a fan, a fridge. These things are really cheap to buy and for the huge amount of money we paid for what is certainly advertised as a boutique experience, it felt like camping. The balcony is shared and not private and another guest looked into my room while I was changing. The breakfast buffet is really sparse. On the upside, they have an adorable baby horse. The views are great, the rooms photograph well. The drive in and out is spectacular. But you should stay somewhere else.
