"Location was key for visiting downtown and the state capitol along with close to the freeway. The room was very spacious with a medium sized personal fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the beds, pillows and linens. The bathroom products were good quality as well. Space was clean, it was a non smoking room...however a slight smoke smell lingered and was noticeable the more time spent in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast at the grille. Spent time at the pool with tables, umbrellas and many places...

"I would give Carson Inn 3 stars. Overall, the hotel wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did what we needed it to do. The room itself was clean and appeared to be well maintained. My biggest issue was that I accidentally booked a smoking room through Expedia. I completely take responsibility for not catching it during the booking process, which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1. "Advertised as immaculately clean. That is laughable. carpet filthy. sheets and trash sat in the halls for over 24 hours. Water in the sink backed up and would not drain. i was told no late check in i called t 2 more time just to verify and was told the same thing. so i booked another hotel. then when i arrived i was told i could have checked in late so the first night i had to pay for 2 hotels, the staff at the hotel said no one would have told me that, i called the property directly not a...
