"Staff was friendly and got our key from the lock box since we showed up after hours. On-site free parking, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The heater didn't work but there is a portable heater in the closet to use. Priced reasonable. Plenty to a shop and eat around the hotel. Nice pool. We would stay here again"

"Highly recommend the room we booked was a pet friendly room right next to a little grass area they called paws club. There were a lot of workers staying but at night it was silent. If I travel thru again will use this hotel again. It is a pity the restaurant isn’t open at night on the weekends but all good just used Door dash "

"This was our first time staying at the Mantra Mackay and hopefully it will not be our last. Normally we stay in town near the highway but this time we tried the marina precinct and were very happy with our choice of the Mantra. The staff were friendly and the room was excellent. The bars and restaurants along the waterfront were great. We are looking forward to another visit before too much longer, and hopefully for more than just one night on the way through."
