"A bit off the beaten track, but still an amazing region and a very exciting place to visit, with high historical value. The hotel is seemingly focusing mostly on conferences and group trips, maybe not much for single visits. Wonderful staff at the reception and in the restaurant, yet it's open only for limited hours but doesn't send out any clear instructions to late-arriving guests. Few choices in the restaurant, but well prepared and creative food. Very well designed and cozy...

"This is the third time staying here in 6/7 years. Clean, comfortable, basic but just what you need. We visit family close-by so its perfect. Right by the shops and walking streets, opposite the train-station (never hear the trains and its not a high speed mainline). They serve a awesome breakfast and excellent coffee. Love this hotel !"

"The hotel had very narrow beds and the room was very hot. The breakfast was “OK”. The restaurant had good food but with a waiter who didn’t know anything about the different dishes, wine alternatives or beers. He had to ask everything to the chef! After the main course, we ordered a dessert with some berries and when we saw it was “hjortron” (cloudberry) I said. “Oh, hjortron” as it was a positive surprise for me.
