"I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?"

"We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay"

"Fabulous room on the 2nd floor, clena, very comfortable, everything you would need from a pint of milk to crumpets and butter, a wonderful bed (slept so well) shower and bath with the lovely handwash, shower gel, shampoo etc., I can't wait to stay again, it's very handy for the town centre and the Penny Blue served us wonderful meals"

"This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. "

"A lovely place to stay in a quiet, pretty village surrounded by lovely countryside. The staff were excellent and so friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a high standard. I appreciated the fridge with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. The breakfast was substantial and tasty (I loved the vine tomatoes). I would definitely recommend The Sally to friends."
