Suffice it to say, if you need a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, you cannot go wrong! "Fabulous stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated with very tasteful modern furnishings. Jan is a super host and keeps the place spotless and provided lots of little treats throughout our stay. He lives next door which is very convenient especially if things go wrong, like my husband losing his wallet on the first day. The pool area is lovely and peaceful and we had a refreshing swim most days after visiting the wineries. "

"We had booked this property as a stayover for my mum who was needing to be at the hospital nearby early the next morning. The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. "A case of complete miss representation. From photos and description obtained on line, we expected a self contained bed_ sitting room with kitchenette . Instead we got one bedroom up some rickety stairs with a shelf unit and narrow hanging cupboard . Utensils for kitchen were totally inadequate . Saving grace, a great bed , fridge and micro wave."
