"We’ve stayed here before and we enjoyed it that much we came back. Reasonable prices for the accommodation and good public transport links. Staff are friendly and helpful. The area isn’t as touristy so a quieter place. Would definitely recommend the plaza Slano which is just around the bay. Cheap beer and boat hire that isn’t too expensive with very friendly English speaking staff."

"The check in was promptly after a quick phone call to the agency. The host was very helpful. The apartment walls were a bit dirty but having the washing machine was a huge plus."

"Loved it! Got a tour when we arrived. The host was very helpful. Walking distance to make restaurants and the beach. Not in a loud and crowded area which is always a win, but not too far from “happening” area! Would highly recommend!"

"Adorable little stay surrounded by lush greenery! The patio was perfect for slow Balkan breakfasts, and the AC was a lifesaver in the summer. It’s an easy 15–20 minute walk to Dubrovnik’s Old Town (if you can resist stopping at all the cafes and bakeries along the way!). Grocery store across the street, bus stop a minute away, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk. Best of all, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel right at home."

"My recent stay allowed me to visit beautiful beaches in Lapad Bay, just a short drive away. The room had everything I needed including an iron and hairdryer which added comfort during my stay. The nearby grocery stores were very convenient."

"Had a 3 night stop over at this stunning hotel which was 35 mins drive from Dubrovnik Airport. When I arrived early my room was available, the staff were so helpful taking luggage to room and making sure I was knowledgeable about everything my stay included, which was a well presented buffet with lots of variety including Prosecco on a beautiful terrace, spa access, robes slippers, loccitane products free use of infinity pool and the other 5 pools as you pleased , the views were exceptionally beautiful the whole place was spotless , just a 6 min walk to a few shops and restaurants and bus stop near entrance handy for popping into the old town which is fascinating, but take a cover up if you want to pop inside the Chapel,100% recommend this place ,even my 17 year old said it was paradise"
"We loved this hotel! Gorgeous views and beautiful location. The pool was great, so was the breakfast and the dinning area. The lounge was also stunning with breathtaking views of the sunset. Everything about our stay made us so sad to leave!! Loved the nightly turn down service and the very comfortable room. Our view was amazing, Everyone has a deck, which helped with drying bathing suits etc. The location on Sunset Beach was perfect. We walked the beautiful seaside path and enjoyed the restaurants.
Every request made at the hotel was met with "of course we will be happy to do that".
Cons: Staff at check-in told us very little about the hotel and our stay. They said nothing about breakfast, we inquired later asking if it was included and if so what were the hours. We were also not asked if we wanted the bed to be made up like a king so finally after sleeping in two twins for two nights, I asked to have it changed, which they happily did for us. But again I wish they offered that at check in.
Last con: As Americans, the most difficult thing about traveling in Europe is the smoking. They allow smoking outside in restaurants and my the pool area. The smoking by the pool was awful!! We would give the pool area a 5 star if it weren't for the smoking guests. Keep this in mind. If you are from the west coast esp. in the US where no one smokes anymore, this is very difficult. We left prematurely each time we tryed to enjoy the pool because of the smoke."
"The pool is very large and nice. Ample chairs and good towels. Very nice indoor pool as well. The sunsets on the lounge area are beautiful!
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was just ok. They only provided 2 bath towels and the shower was a tub with a hand shower which I didn’t like at all."
"The resort was amazing. Room and resort were super clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurants on site is really good too. I definitely recommend and will be back!"
"Outstanding hotel, very clean. Staff very welcoming. Lovely grounds. Outstanding à la cart restaurant, great breakfast, great rooftop pool and bar with Wonderful views. Location great only 10 minutes in a uber to the old town. Highly recommend"
"Breakfast was ok at best but included. The dinner buffet surprisingly good which we had one night. Bed was old and made a lot of noise and there was no shower curtain so water ended up everywhere each time. The whole system of lights and housekeeping, dnd is old and has no instructions on it so several mix ups with that. Great views and historic property."
