"Quiet hotel right along the canal and close enough to the historic center to be convenient but just far away enough to be quiet and away from the masses. We stayed in the summer and appreciated the in-room air conditioner and refrigerator. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. They always had a full pitcher of ice-cold water at the check-in counter. There are some lovely canal views, a tram stop nearby, and Donkey Bike parking just down each adjoining street.
The only real negative for our room (ground floor) was that whenever we entered our room, we would smell an unpleasant drainage odor. We'd get used to the smell so it didn't bother us the whole time, but just something to note."
