"The room was large, beautiful, and full of light from the four large windows; the room and attached bathroom were both spotless. The owner and staff were all super friendly. I took part in an excellent yoga class in the studio on the second floor, which was also beautiful and light-filled from large windows. Graham’s coffee shop on the ground floor served an excellent cappuccino in a real cup and had lots of tasty-looking pastry options, including some vegan and gluten free. It was my birthday and the owner gave me much-appreciated perks to make my stay even more special. I definite recommend this gorgeous, historic hotel, which is located in the very walkable Stockade neighborhood and close to restaurants, a movie theater, Proctor’s theater, and the Mohawk River for nice walks. "
