Just had a fabulous two night stay, May 2025. The whole experience was great, gorgeous room 126 that we were upgraded to. This Hotel is a proper Hotel with the highest staff standards, lovely warm comforting feeling. Would have liked to have stayed in hotel room more! thanks Amrâth you made our Amsterdam stay really special. 5star+ experience

"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."
