Amazing

We booked the terminal 5 location of ibis hotels for the weekend, however due to refurb work we were relocated. I couldnt have been happier the welcome we received was exemplary, the cleanliness was spot on and the comfort was brilliant, if there was any downside it would be the lack of pillows, on 2 pillows for a double bed !!

We stayed to travel to lego land the hotel was clean the staff friendly and helpful , the only thing that was a negative is the menu choice and no childrens menu but the food was fine. The bus service was very frequent.we got the 81 to Slough walked across the street and down a few minutes to th exchange building to catch the 102 103 straight to legoland they seen to come every hour.

It is very good value and is linked to Heathrow airport by a Hotel Hopper bus. Unfortunately this ran only once an hour early on the morning I was there.

Fine for a stopover.

The hotel had no notification of our arrival after we had been transferred from the previous booking. Not their fault but frustrating after a long flight. Also given a room already occupied due to a fault in their system. The staff did well under pressure and were very helpful. The room itself was fine for a stopover. Ibis's fault, not the hotels.

This was a decent place to stay for easy access to Heathrow. Parking was easy, the staff were friendly and it was convenient having the restaurant downstairs for a quick light dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, while our room was comfortable, the bathroom was shockingly filthy. There were hairs on the floor, general dirt and a even a piece of chewed gum just laying on the floor. We didn’t feel comfortable walking in there with bare feet. Since we were only staying one night I didn’t complain but I was very surprised. Other than that issue, this was a good place to stay for travel the next day. Maybe the cleaning crew was having a bad day?

The staff was friendly, the room was clean - although I just booked a normal 1 bed room and was given a handicapped accessible room with 2 extra beds and a wheelchair accessible shower in it. Perfect for the family who needs it - but I hadn't requested it. Area seemed sketchy - no where to go to eat except the hotel and the offerings were limited. No public transportation so only Hoppa to the airport. All that said - most of the blame falls on me for not researching this hotel and location more. This is a low cost budget hotel and provides a valuable service to the area.

How To Make A Difference

At check in the guy was trying to charge us to upgrade from a red room (budget) to a blue room (standard). We’d already paid for a blue room but it was only the fact that eventually after the third member of staff they got it right and accepted we had booked a blue room. Painful check in !!!!

Ibis best hotels for bookings

Amazing checked in right away no hair dryer in the hotel but honestly towel dry hair is easily done overall staff were helpful and the one person helped me do the address for just eat to order food was helpful thank you for the lovely stay for that night

The hotel was very clean we had a lovely clean room was very impressed with it . The bad bit was the bar did not have a lot of options of drink ie; alco pops . So if your going to book it it’s a good one

After a long bad day there was welcoming reception . Clean rooms The next morning the lady refilling refreshments in lounge helped me with times of hoopa bus she could tell I was tired unwell and flustered so was very patient

Simple room, easy check in, corona extra on tap!

Simple check in and easy to get to room. Room and bathroom were very basic but did the trick for a simple night's sleep and shower. TV could be larger and bed a bit more comfortable but otherwise all good. Best part was they had Corona on tap! Don't know anywhere else that does that!

Excellent stay at Ibis Heathrow, although the menu for the restaurant wasn’t good for a vegan. Overall though, the hotel was good and staff very pleasant and helpful.

I had to call reception to give exert location as i ended up at Swissport which is the building adjacent to Hotel.( look out for the unsigned road!) . For evething else, this is a 4star hotel for 2star price.
