"It was with heavy heart that we packed up for our journey home. This was our first time staying in Mainely Cabin but our third time enjoying the hospitality of Damon and Jamie ( the other two times were in The Lighthouse). To me, this is Shanghai-La; a place where I find heaven and rejuvenation. The mornings and afternoons walking on the beach finding sea glass and rocks with personality (my treasures) and the sun’s warmth recharging my body. Enjoying the morning sunrises on the deck watching the birds (Eagles included) and evenings watching seals in the bay while sitting by the fire bring tranquility to my soul! I am already counting down the days until August 2027."

"We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise, fishing boats, and passing seagulls. Being able to walk into town was a wonderful bonus, and the host was exceptionally accommodating. We would happily stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay. Roberta and her husband are accommodating and kind. The accommodations are comfy, with plenty of seating options, a coffee maker, and a tv that can be swiveled to view from any part of the main room. The bathroom has a modern shower along with a charming claw foot tub. Everything was clean and well-kept. We were lucky enough to witness a mama deer with her two fawns, and a couple of young bucks up close in the big picture window, which was a treat. The view across to Canada was lovely, and the woodsy area was peaceful. The owners live overhead in a separate unit, and we never felt that they were intrusive or a worry. The check-out instructions were straightforward and totally reasonable (especially compared to what some places want you to do after your stay nowadays) and we would love to stay again someday."

"Gino was a gracious host and got us what we needed in a timely manner. Our only discomfort was the musty odor in the kitchen cupboards. It was quite strong. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the 11 of us and Gino provided many different types of games so the kids were never bored.Overall, a very peasant stay."
