"My stay there was okay, it was hot in there initially and the air was very dry and rough to breathe in, not exactly sure why outside of the temperate. But my roommate and I woke up with a raspy throat. The surrounding location is pretty bare, you have one small shop within a 5-8 minute proximity to you for essentials. And outside of that you’d need to drive a bit to get to any NICE restaurants and coffee etc. the owner was very nice though and the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and updated, critters would find their way but I’m not surprised given I stayed in a location surrounded by nature lol. I stayed in room 3! If you’re here just to get a good nights rest before hiking Mt. Rainer, it’s absolutely worth it!!! Only 38 mins away from the payment booth to get into the national park. ☺️"

"Our group of childhood friends has been getting together for a long weekend getaway for over 20 years, and this is definitely the nicest house we have ever stayed in! Ten women slept comfortably in brand-new, luxurious beds, with four king beds and four queen beds across five bedrooms. (The queen beds were arranged as bunk beds.) We cooked and ate in the very large, well-equipped kitchen, and we lounged and played games on the ample, comfortable living room furniture. The large TV in the main room was great for watching World Cup matches!The home is remote, but there is a store nearby for essentials like ice. It was also close to the Lower, Middle, and Upper Lewis River Falls. (Make sure to get your parking reservations ahead of time!) The falls were a lovely way to get some exercise and enjoy the area.We would highly recommend this vacation home for friend groups, family gatherings, or anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to relax and spend time together."

"Great place for a "base camp" before hiking up Mt. St. Helens. Only 30 min from Climber's Bivouc. Clean and well stocked. We enjoyed it quite a bit."

"What a wonderful place for a friend's trip hiking and exploring. From a great kitchen for meals together in the morning, to swimming mid day, to grilling and firepit at night we had a wonderful stay. Ape caves and St. Helens summit were both close by and a few steps to the water for kayaking and swimming.Melanie was great communicating and quick to respond with questions we had.House was comfortable to stay and quiet with privacy even with being close to the road.Have rented homes all over the PNW and this was one of our favorites!"
