"Nice size rooms and your room overlooks the parking lot where your car is parked. There is across the street parking for those staying here and it cost is very low for a gated (crossing arms) parking lot. A wonderful selection of breakfast food available as a guest service for those staying here. One of the only hotels in Evansville to be down by the Ohio River. The view of the River from the hotel elevator and room is great. A must see."

"People should be told, and billed for the damage deposit at the time of booking. There was no hot water. It was a walk in shower, which was okay, but the water was creek cold, no matter which way you turned the knob. There was a blob of something on the bathroom floor, under the counter, beside the toilet, that needed to be mopped up. It was there when I got there. Also, no carpet is okay, but if you walk from the shower to the living area to dress, your bare feet will be black on the bottom. You will need to clean them with a wash cloth to be clean for shoes. They obviously do not mop regularly. The microwave needs a note near it that the light switch by the door needs to be turned on for it to work. I didn't think it worked and had to walk to the office about it, because everytime I tried to call the number, it said there was no voicemail and hung up. No ringing, no live person to answer. No phones in the room. Charging the cell phone meant leaving it on the floor 8 feet from the bed, or on the desk, same distance. There are no outlets near the bed or the tables beside it to connect chargers. It wasn't a roach motel, but could stand some thought for temporary travlers. The one I visited is also being used for "permanent" guests. which may be why they are not as concerned for amenities for temporary ones. It suited my purposes, but it could have been better. The outside was decent."

"We loved our stay in this hotel. We arrived late but everything was ready. Simple hotel and everything we needed. The front desk staff could not have been nicer, she was wonderful. We had a soaking whirlpool tub that came in handy as we had been hiking all day. Great breakfast and a perfect stop. We loved Henderson and we would absolutely stay here again if we returned!"

"Everything seemed to be in exceltent working order. Wife and I just atarted a diet and the breakfast had some things we could eat and enjoy. Would definitly stay there again."

"Bobby was great to work with and instantly returned messages and needs. Home is in a convient area to a lot of the activities we travelled on this trip for, which was seeing family. I would not hesitate renting again, but will be better prepared. Listing mentions mosquitos and you'll definitely want to bring spray. The back yard is lush and a great play area for your fur friends, but the skeeters are pretty thick.Probably needs to talk with the crew that attends to the home between visits. Outside trashcans were full, so we had to take trash off and the grill has not been cleaned in quite awhile. We just threw on some aluminum foil. "Game room" area was much smaller than it appeared in the listing and is in the garage and not climate controlled, so make sure to bring some fans during the hotter months if you're going to use the area.Price point really made a few irritations well worth working through them and as mentioned, I would not hesitate renting again."
