It was nice and clean for my stay. It was my first time staying here I was visiting for Dreamville!!! It was right by the outlets lots of food options and only 30 mins away from the park that dreamville was being held at so it was perfect for my 2 night stay
The room I had looked recently renovated and was very clean. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable and looked clean. Too tired to inspect. Sink in bathroom was cracked and tap dripped. Floor didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well. Microwave had a big crack on the front which the staff would have changed but we weren’t going to use it. Top of fridge rusty looking.
On March 27 we arrived at the property for three days. Christina, Front Desk Staff, appeared pleasant and effectively handled the check in and out process. Christina was able to address our special request. As a repeat guest to the property over the years I found the interior common and guest room areas somewhat less in elegant appearance compared to the period preceding the World pandemic. Surely, fair, wear and tear will take place. The area over the years has experienced an uptake of construction and such workers creating heavy foot traffic at the property. The guest room pricing was reasonable in view of nearby Hotel competition. All room amenities were functional and housekeeping staff cordial.
The staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. In passing, they greeted us and asked questions daily to ensure our stay was positive.
The rooms were clean and prepared accordingly. However, the only suggestion I have is to update the bathrooms. They were cleaned to the best of the staff's ability. However, they had slight wear and tear.
This hotel is average at best, first room they gave us smelled like pot, I was assured they were a non smoking establishment- she offered to spray it with Odor Ban - I wasn’t comfortable with that and ended up getting a different room. Tub looked dirty and the dust ruffles on the bed looked like coke was spilled on them and never changed - bed was comfortable on a positive note. Also nice ladies at the desk. A remodel is long overdue.
The room was clean and looked well maintained. The ground , the lobby and hotel itself was very well kept. The only issue I had was the hotel check-in and check-out clerks seemed to not engage with customers. Breakfast had a variety of items. I think the milk may have been a little off, because I had stomach issues later. But it was clean, edible and well maintained otherwise. The hallway to the 3rd floor was clean. The breakfast staff, hiusekeeping and maintenance people were pleasant and helpful. I will recommend this as a place to stop for an overnight or longer to stay. Plus it's right off I-95, so easy on and off. There is also gas stations and restaurants nearby.

Property is old & needs update. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Whole top of refrigerator was rusted?? Breakfast was poor. Tried some sausage links… very tough & dried out. Will cross it off list of places to stay at that exit. Seemed to have very few guests compared to others in same area.

Liked: Staff & service
Our closet door was off its hinges and just leaning against the wall. Our bathroom had a peeling wall next to the shower (did not discover this till the next morning). Bathroom overall felt dirty. Our room definitely needed an upgrade. Beds were clean and staff was friendly but that is about the only thing positive I can say about this property. Would not stay here again.
Came in late and very tired. Staff (Christina) was very pleasant and helpful but the rooms were terrible. First room had a very loud ticking sound coming from the fridge. Could not reach plug to try to turn it off. Was offered a different room. Smelled of smoke especially in the bathroom. Barry offered us the adjoining room as well. Good he did because adjoining room was worse. The toilet lever was completely broken and so toilet would not flush. The top lock of the door would not lock so we put our luggage against the door. Had to use the smoke smelling bathroom in the other room during the night. Totally unacceptable. Will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired as well. Everyone I know will hear my story. May even put it on Facebook. Changing rooms 3 times in a late evening and each one worse than the one before. Exhausting
Woman at the front desk was pleasant. Was given a room with someone in it. They had to give us another room, honest mistake I think. The one thing i didn’t like was a man was sitting in lobby n followed me to my room and was asking me questions. My husband was in the room so i knock so he knew someone was in their. We later went to a restaurant and sat at the bar and the same guy came in!!!!! The bartender told him to leave, i proceeded to ask her about him. She said the cops were called on him 2xs for bothering patrons!!!! In the morning the same man(same clothes) was sitting in the lobby again. Hotel should not allow him to come n sit in their lobby. I am sure they know he is homeless. Safety should come 1st…. Other then this incident our stay was good.
We only stayed here for about 12 hours to get some sleep on our way to Florida. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The water was hot and had great pressure. There were only two small things I disliked. There was an annoying audio notification on the TV that we couldn't get to go away. It would be on the right side of the screen then jump to the left. You could hit exit but it would come right back. The other thing is that the breakfast was sparse, like they didn't want to put out too much food, so it made me feel uncomfortable even taking anything because I didn't want to snatch what may be the last apple or the last muffin. Of course other people didn't mind piling plates high with food to take up to their rooms but I was hesitant. There were waffles and eggs and sausage, as well as cereal. There were only two containers of yogurt in the fridge which someone grabbed, there were maybe 5 mini muffins, some bread and bagels. If you're looking for a big breakfast, this isn't it. It seemed a bit penny pinching to me, especially because if I said we had 2 people in our room (we had 4), our rate would've been $20 cheaper for the exact same room.
Easy parking, friendly staff but def a budget hotel. Bed was clean and comfy. Bathroom had old hair and crusty dust in corners. I’d walk a lamp shook, also my door was a little busted… room 208. Hard to get in sometimes. Overall decent staff, I basically only slept here. Worked all day into night at the festival. 3o min drive to Raleigh but it was smooth and scenic so not bad at all. There was a ton of restaurants in the area, convenient location
