"Only thing I didn’t like was there was NOT enough protein. They ran out of Greek yogurt last 2 of the 3 days we were there. All they have is the pancake maker, muffins, bagels, bread and fruit cocktail. Jiffy peanut butter and jams. On the upside McDonald’s is located next door. Other than that it was perfect."

"The Inn at Grand Pre was perfectly located to explore the surrounding area. The room was comfortable, shower was fantastic. Courtney was very welcoming, made helpful suggestions, and was ultra organized in being sure that the breakfast selected the day before was ready and waiting for you-warm scones, tea in teapot on the table, yogurt with granola and fruit. The property is stunning. The highlight was securing a reservation to eat at Le Caveau, the French restaurant on site."

"The room is small but has everything you need. It was clean and you can have a room refresh if you like. The code system on one set of doors didn't work, so make sure you go in through the other side of the building. It is in a great location - easy walk to the university, groceries, shops, and restaurants."

Treeside Retreat with Hot tub

"We stayed for two weeks in June/July. It is a quiet neighborhood and the cabin is in a good midpoint location between Wolfville to the north and Chester to the south. Its a short drive to the neighborhood pond, and it is generally quiet and peaceful there. The screen porch is a wonderful amenity, and the screens themselves are very secure, which is important for pets. The house itself has some staples, but not everything, you may need to pick up some supplies like olive oil, ice cube trays, tissues etc. A negative I must mention is that the cabin was terribly dirty when we arrived. I informed the owner and he sent the cleaners back and was good about helping to resolve the issue. It may have been a combo of very dirty prior renters and bad cleaners. Hopefully the cleaners up their game or get replaced. Overall I would recommend this rental. PS, nearby Bent Ridge winery and restaurant is a must visit, as well as the Agrizoo farm animals and butcher shop at Oulton Meats. Best bacon we've ever had!"

The August House

"We stayed in Room 7, a big beautiful room with a comfy King bed. There were two luggage racks and a rack on the wall for our hanging clothes. We had a view. The bathroom is also beautiful and large, well appointed with towels, robes, soaps, even bath salts. The tub was sparkling clean and new looking. The house is a large Victorian, fully renovated with modern appointments, like matching hardware throughout. Decorated in a warm, comfortable, beautiful style with every detail in sync. There were several common rooms where we sat and chatted with other guests. There was an open kitchenette outside our room with coffee, snacks, and a full fridge for our leftovers. We didn't take advantage of the saunas or the waffle robes, but it was nice to see them available. Breakfast was baked oatmeal with spiced yogurt, fruit and granola on top. Fresh baked bread, with butter and jam, too. The coffee was good."
