We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the South Shore Oasis. David thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and at home. The house has a very well appointed kitchen, gas BBQ, portable fans in many rooms, plenty of bath and beach towels and games for kids. He also spoiled our dog with treats and his own bed. The property is located on the main road to Chester, centrally located for day excursions to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove."

"We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!"
