For the price, you get a lot of privacy while still being close to town to experience all that Gettysburg has to offer! "The Laverne House never disappoints! This was our third time staying here, and it is just as wonderful as the first time. Everything is clean and comfortable, the owners are very nice and easy to get in touch with, there are so many things to do within walking distance, and they added a Keurig since the last time we stayed! When we end up back on Gettysburg, we will definitely try to stay here again! "

"We enjoyed our stay here, the housekeeping was immaculate, the kitchen very modern, and the space downstairs was generous and inviting. Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors and easy parking. My only concern for seniors like us (in our 80s) was the steep staircase to the upper floor and the big steps in the front with no handrail. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay."

The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony off the main living space was perfect for enjoying meals with a view, and we loved being able to swim and kayak right from the backyard. The pictures on line are exactly what the house looks like. All the bedrooms are nice size. Kitchen and dining rooms are great.
