"A terrible experience and a holiday ruined. We arrived to find a man in the house who could not speak English and did not know we were arriving. The owner said he would be leaving after he put the towels away however he came back on another occasion, did not knock and just walked inside. The house was FILTHY!!!!! The sheets had obviously been slept in and I had to go and get some clean ones late at night so the kids could go to bed. My husband had to scrub the toilet. The man was standing in the...

"Exceeded all expectations this place! We travel around heaps in Australia and overseas but I think this place is the cleanest place we have stayed at. So convenient, the cafe/restaurant/bar was like 15m from our room. Meals start at about 6or7am and go right through the day and into the night. Friendly and helpful staff. Great indoor heated pool with 2x spas and a sauna. Indoor gym, pickle ball court, pool table, foosball table and 2 table tennis tables. Will definitely stay here next time we come to Ballarat!"

"Absolutely lovely. Period features but all up to date plumbing, heating etc. Staff are lovely and had lunch in the dining room atrium area. Pokies downstairs out of sight if you need them close to cinemas walking 400m up the hill and bank over the road for atm. We’ll be back for sure. Only minus I could think of was TV a bit hidden in the cupboard. Cheers"
