"The cabin was absolutely amazing. Nestled in the foothills of a local mountain with spectacular views as far as the eye can see. Our only regret is that we were only there for one night, I could see myself reading a good book on the deck, or viewing the northern lights at night. The cabin was clean and well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were the best communicators we've ever had the pleasure to interact with. They had plenty of local recommendations and things to do. We drove about...

"Cabin well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Had a bit of a time figuring out how to work the cooktop stove ( need to place the pot or pan on the burner first before the heat will come on). Owners very quick to respond to any questions. Overall a nice stay."

"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"CWe loved our stay at Dis cottages – the view cannot be beat! The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water. It was a great location for us between Grundarfjordur and Stykkisholmur when exploring the Snaefellness peninsula. "
