"This cozy cabin far exceeded our expectations for a girls' weekend getaway! It’s just a quick drive from the cities which is a huge plus. Throughout the entire process, the communication I had with the owner was impressive with very kind and quick responses. The cabin itself has everything you need! The kitchen is even fully stocked! One of the main reasons I booked this place was for its porch overlooking the lake. It was gorgeous! The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. Everything is updated, clean and decorated so cute! "Great place for large groups, especially if you rent both houses. The interiors are really nice. The showers, beds, common rooms and kitchen are all updated, and they are clean. There is always some worry about whether the amenities are not as good as the pictures, but the firepits, the grills, the sauna and the hot tub are all set up very well and are great to use. The hot tub especially is top of the line. The host was very accommodating, good communication and easy to work with. Just don't expect a beach or much of a swimming area on the property, especially late in the summer due to the natural growth in the cove. But the large lake is easily accessible and will be very enjoyable if you bring a boat and park at the private dock. "
