Large and clean rooms, but a bit noisy

Nice and clean rooms that were large. Everything is automated so you don't meet any staff. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy but more than adequate. Room floors are very noise so you can hear the people above you walk around. We visited in summer and it was very hot. No A/C and the rooms are out to a street that has some traffic. In the morning a lot of seagulls, so don't expect to sleep late.

Fine stay. As a soldier I lived in this barracks-turned-into-hotel location. Great memories. Everything worker fine concerning check-in/out process. Room clean and sufficiently equipped.

Did not like self check in, often main door was open. Quite a drive into the town. Shared kitchen not nice, dirty plates left in the sink. Noisy seagul sounds outside building. Did not see any staff. Room cleaned when we put do nit disturb sign up. Breakfast excellent choice but had to go to the building next door!

Good - but could be better

In general a good experience, but I got locked out of my room for 5 hours (check-out at 10 am and check-in at 3 pm), because I extended my stay by a day in advance and before comming - don't do that!, but this was not reflected or implemented in the lock for the door. I did overcome this episod with the help from friends. The reception was closed and didn't answerr my calls before it was to late. The cleaning lady was not helpful either. But I'm still a happy customer and will return any day.

Too poor - like a hostel.

Poor. Only 1 small towel in total. Not something to stand on after showeing so had to use same towel for hands after washing hands, hair, body and after stand on it after showering. It was not possible to get more. 1 small pillow. Was not able to get more. Easy to hear next door neighbour talk. Single bed is 80 cm wide! Duvet is ok.

Living at an old military barracks this stay is a bit unique. Everything is handled via codes and instructions received via text messages (sms), and I must say this was effortless and suited us perfectly not to have to stress to meet a certain closing time. It was even possible to buy (self serve) a welcome pilsner beer from the fridge upstairs with no hassle. Nice surroundings. Breakfast was above our expectations and lacked nothing.

Room was clean, comfortable and big. Nice seating area with view of the waterfront. Mattress very comfortable. Coffee/tea facility. Reception staff was very helpful, recommending sights and restaurants. Breakfast buffet offered a good selection and staff in the breakfast hall were very helpful. The hotel is a short walk away from the waterfront, town centre is walkable as is the Alsion Koncertsalen across the water where we enjoyed a wonderful concert. We spent five nights in the hotel and were sad to leave. Can't wait to return next year.

It Said we had a Wine included but we couldnt find it. So we took the chance and took one from the fridge at 2nd floor. It Said when we ordered we had one

Lack of staff to do the check-in completely ruined the stay. Even getting into the hotel requires a door lock code sent to you in one of the many emails from the hotel. Once inside the "re cep ti o nist" was either unwilling or unable to help with anything. This hotel is only recommend for people who live their entire life in a smart phone.

Self-service hotel with annoying electronic touchpad PIN locks, which lock themselves for 5min if you make 3 mistakes, which is easy to do since they respond super slow. Tap water didn't get cold so I went shopping at 9.30 to buy cold water!! Code didn't work for one of the stairwells. Website sucks. Elevator is off-linita unless you're handicapped. You have to walk outside to get to the vending machine. No mini fridge in the room. Bed and tv was fine.

Bad self-service/security experience average hotel

The hotel is self-service and I love that was it not that there apparently was a problem with our door code. We got approached by what seems to be a random woman that told us in english she wanted to “test” our door and that she worked at the hotel which we had no way of confirming. Thinking she was a east european thief, so I politely declined her to touch our door lock when we left. She then later called me when we where out to dinner, telling me that she had made a new simple (insecure) code for our door so we slept with a chair in front of the door and packed all our belongings in our car before we left for breakfast. Luckily where there only for one night since it didn't feel safe knowing the same code was used on multiple doors. The hotel room was ok nothing fancy, maybe even a little expensive and the beds where a bit hard. Classic good breakfast with polite service, but we are not coming back due to security.
