Amazing Two Bedroom Oceanfront Beach House

Wonderful oceanfront beach house in quiet North Topsail Beach NC. Summer rentals are from Saturday - Saturday in peak season for twelve weeks, from Memorial Day until the end of August. During Winter, Spring and Fall, weekends and other options are available including a two night minimum, early check-in and late check-out. This sunfilled, two bedroom, one bath home is ideal for a small family, a get away for a few friends or for a couple's vacation. It is a vintage 1969 fishing cottage with original hardwood floors and detailed ceiling. There is central AC and heat in our cottage. This beach house is strictly non-smoking. We allow up to two pets with specific permission in writing, so email us and tell us about your furry family member! We do require a non-refundable pet fee per pet. Pets are $25 per night and $150 for the week.

North Topsail Beach is a relaxing, family oriented beach. The cottage has a wonderful upper deck with 180 degree views of the ocean and beach! The public beach cross-over is 100 ft. from the deck, so you have easy access for bringing over your chairs and everything you will need for an afternoon of sun, surfing, boogie boarding and building sand castles! There is a sand path along the dune leading to the public cross over. We have a storage area with beach chairs, an umbrella and some sand toys and boogie boards. There is a charcoal grill and grilling tools available as well. The full sized washer and dryer is in the storage area and the large outdoor shower has hot and cold water and a dressing area. There is a carport with covered parking for one vehicle and a long gravel driveway for other cars.

The cottage has two separate bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other has a queen sized bed. The bathroom has been completely renovated with hexagon tile floors and a cast iron tub/shower with subway tile surround. There are ceiling fans in the living room and each bedroom and a flat screen TV is in each bedroom and living room with free wifi access. The living room also has a DVD player and we have a movie library available. There is a cabinet with a small collection of books, playing cards and some games and puzzles for evenings or rainy days:)

The kitchen was renovated in February of 2021 and has a full sized stove and oven, refrigerator and microwave. We have an automatic 12 cup coffee maker that uses cone filters which are provided and a French press available. There is a toaster and blender as well. We do not have a dishwasher, so dishes do need to be hand washed:)

A local linen service can be recommended if you do not wish to bring your own linens. Clean quilts are provided for each bed.

Wonderful beach cottage

Had everything we needed and was light and airy, with only a short path to miles of lovely beach. And not far from restaurants, fresh fish, and other shops. We hope to return!

Wonderful Stay at the Beach

This was a quick trip for us but will be one of our favorite beach trips. Being right on the beach was a game changer, and for the two of us and our dog this place was perfect. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and we hope to stay here again in the future.

A great place to stay!

My daughter (19) and I and our dog stayed here for a short vacation. It was perfect! The house has everything you could need for you and your dog, and the location couldn't be better. It was so clean, quiet and the host was amazing with communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Getaway!

We had an amazing week at this fantastic property! The location is perfect, right on the water. We could hear the ocean every morning when we woke up and every night when we went to sleep. And the deck is really all you need for enjoying the beauty and the peace of the ocean. The home was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owner was so wonderful to deal with. We will be back soon!

Cozy Ocean Front Cottage

This was the perfect cozy cottage for us! Clean and I loved all of the charming furniture and decor. The sun deck was amazing with a beautiful ocean front view and only steps from the beach acess. Very easy to come in and out during the day from the beach. There was also a gate on the deck so our beagle could hang outside with us without being on a leash. Will definitely be back! 😊

Perfect getaway!

We enjoyed a long weekend at this property and had an amazing time! Everything was exactly as advertised. The views are spectacular, the walk to the beach is relatively short and simple, and the amenities are very comfortable. I stayed with my wife, 2 kids (ages 2 and 3) and our two pups for three nights. The kids room was perfect with 2 low beds. The living room and dining area were comfortable for eating meals we prepared in the nicely stocked kitchen. We also made use of the weber charcoal grill, which had a charcoal chimney provided and a digital meat thermometer/tongs/grill brush as well. Water in the shower was hot and had good pressure. Overall, it was a great stay, and this charming cottage really delivered! Now my one and only warning; understand that the deck is a bit old, so make sure you and the little ones are wearing shoes at all times on the deck. We followed this rule and no one got splinters all week. I give this property and it’s manager Stephanie a 5/5 rating, and definitely recommend to anyone considering staying there.

Relaxing Week on Beach

Check in was a breeze and we even were able to get in a little early which we very much appreciated! The house was clean with the exception of the queen bed skirt. It was covered in black dog hair. The location was quiet and perfect for watching the beach on the deck. The wooden gate doesn't close without you lifting it up to latch. Not a big deal, but is a pain if you have hands full of groceries, beach gear, etc. One afternoon, we left our teenager while we ran to get a few extra groceries and she called pretty frightened when a strange man came onto the deck. I messaged the homeowner to see if they had sent someone. They had. REALLY would have liked a heads up someone was going to be coming. I had anxiety the rest of the afternoon and didn't feel comfortable leaving my teens there alone anymore. We really enjoyed ourselves and if we come back to Topsail would stay here again. The beach was clean and enjoyable. Thank you for providing our family with some great beach memories.

This was our third year in a row staying at this lovely cottage, right on the beach. It’s just the right size for a couple or small family. If you enjoying eating in, the kitchen is well appointed. We did beach, eat, relax on repeat for the entire week!

Just right for us

The smaller size that other Topsail houses was ideal. The distance from ground to living space, kitchen to bedroom and bath pleasantly short. The path behind the neighboring house to the public beach access meant that access to the beach was as good as a walkway directly to the beach. The only downside was the air conditioner broke down. The owner responded immediately with 2 mobile air conditioning units and subsequently a 3rd, which together fully cooled the house for the rest of the week. An air conditioning mechanic evaluated the problem, but required parts did not arrive before we departed.

Amazing Beach Week

Nice location!

House is extremely clean and in a good location. Great outdoor shower. Downside is extensive Ocean views only from top deck and it has no shade. Also in paying to be Oceanside, it would be nice to have beach access at the house rather than have to walk to public beach access two doors down.

Beach Heaven

Had the best time at the beach house. The cottage was as described, very clean and accommodating. You can’t beat the tall oceanfront deck, and the bottom deck was perfect with a gate to allow our dogs to roam freely. The best part is the location and proximity to the beach, making it easy to access and come and go during the day. Beach was quiet and perfect to relax for a few days, and Stacy was over accommodating and quick to respond. We will be returning!

An older property with good AC and bathroom

The hosts have made good improvements to this once upon a time fishing shack. It is small but nice. The owners are very accommodating should you want to bring your dog. However, the gate on the deck (necessary for dog visits) started coming apart while we were there. It appeared to be poor carpentry as there was only one nail connecting the bottom corner and with one or two storms it let loose. An easy fix. My only complaint, and this is across VRBO not only with this propertry, is we are charged a substantial cleaning fee and yet we have to do quite a bit of cleaning before we leave. So what exactly are the cleaners doing?

Beach vacation 2024

This was our second time staying at this adorable cottage right on the beach. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We cooked and/or made every meal except one at the house. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary tools. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. The top deck is our favorite place to have an evening cocktail! Hope to see this cottage again soon!
