On the Ocean

Amazing property so close to the ocean you could fish from the deck! Upper deck with Pergola shading and lower "spa" deck with hot and cold outdoor shower, lounge chairs and plenty of private space for relaxing - do yoga, meditate, play games. read a book or have a crab feast with the ocean at your feet. One of a kind property with unmatched views. Nothing between you and the ocean and the amazing Topsail sunrises. Completely remodeled in November 2021 with all new appliances, furniture and amenities. Sparkling white kitchen with huge built in island and everything you need. Living room area has comfy convertible sofa that can be moved in various configurations including a queen size cubby; 65" Smart Samsung TV with built in channels and streaming options including Netflix, Prime, Hulu, HBO Max, etc. Both bedrooms have new furnishings and mattresses in November 2021 including super comfortable premium hybrid mattresses. This is truly the most remarkable property you will find to experience the wonderful beauty of Topsail Beach up close and personal.

Please note we DO NOT have a Dishwasher, Laundry Machine or Dryer on this property. If you need those amenities this is not the place for you. What we DO HAVE is the best view on the island and the beach is literally in our backyard. No lugging beach wagons, chairs, children, etc. Just walk out your door and you are there. We have a wonderful lower deck outdoor area for you to get out of the sun and still be on the beach. With a hot and cold outdoor shower waiting for you after a long day at the beach. Then head upstairs to the fully stocked kitchen to prepare your lunch or dinner and eat outside on the upper deck for the best ocean side view in town. IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!

Five generations of our family have been vacationing on Topsail since the 1960s. We have rented houses all over the island, but this is the first one that wasn't through a realtor. The personal touches and special attention make those experiences pale in comparison.Star #1 - Location! Fabulous view from the deck as well as the covered patio. High tide feels like you're almost floating in the surf. It's rare to find a house in front of the dunes, and this gives the spot a feeling of openness.Star #2 - No tent or sun shelter needed. The covered patio under the house is a lovely place to spend those too sunny days.Star #3 - This is probably the cleanest house we've ever rented. The tasteful decor also lends itself to the overall peaceful environment.Star #4 - Comfortable furniture that is inviting to sit and relax or converse, and beds are very comfortable. We often travel with our own mattress topper for the times when rental unit beds are tough on sore joints. But it was not needed here. It was like sleeping on a cloud.Star #5 - Joanne is a marvelous host with excellent communication and attention to details which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. She though of everything we could possibly want or need and provided all.We absolutely would rent this house again!

Super House

The house was so clean and had so many extra nice touches. Soft sheets, great towels, premium toilet paper, lol. The location was awesome. No one could ever get closer to the ocean. Enjoyed the week.

Fantastic Spot!

This house is so cute. Freshly decorated with personal touches. Joanne was a great host and even had some welcome snacks for us along with a gift for the kids. Absolutely loved the lower deck and outdoor shower. A great place to escape the sun and still be on the beach. Beach chairs, sand toys and skimboards for us to use as well. We’d love to come back again, The McGuigans.

Right on the beach

We stayed for 1 week and it was excellent. We would sit on the deck for lunch and dinner and be just about as close to the water as beachgoers under their beach tents. Ample kid toys, my 6 year old daughter had a blast! Clean and seamless checkin and checkout.

The house was great. Just as listed. You walked out of the house and right onto the beach.The views are something you'll never forget. The owner was great to work with..would definitely rent again.

Paradise!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay. The location is perfect! It was so nice to not have to pack coolers and beach stuff and haul it to the shore. We literally walked out right onto the beach. The views are spectacular. The home was very clean and had everything we needed- even things we didn’t know we needed lol…you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making your stay as effortless as possible. The home is stocked with spices, clean dishes, supplies, linens, and many other things. Everything is new, very clean, and well maintained. The owners are extremely nice and responsive. HIGHLY recommend!!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation.

Fantastic location - Updated and Clean!

My wife and I and son (20 months old) just completed a week at this fabulous rental. Perfect little 2 bed room RIGHT on the beach. Fantastic ocean views from the cottage itself as well as the new lower deck area. Steps from the ocean- literally- great features like a lower shaded deck area, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and a fully stocked kitchen. The host and their partner were wonderful. They really thought to make the space comfortable and functional. They provide a bunch of extras in the kitchen to help with cooking and cleaning. Basically show up with your luggage and groceries and start having fun. Already booked a return visit for 2023.

This beach house was just perfect. The house had everything we needed. The house was very clean. The beds were so comfortable,kitchen had everything we needed and the Ocean was right at our door step.Highly recommend it.

Can’t be any closer to the beach

We had a fabulous spring break with our boys here. This beach house is in great shape with modern new furniture and all amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. Decorated very tastefully. We had the beach to ourselves in early April. Boys built sandcastles and flew kites. The view from living room / kitchen is great. The Atlantic is literally at your feet. Even on a rainy / windy day it’s enjoyable because of its perfect location. You can lay on the couch with a book and still enjoy the ocean view and listen to the waves. The location is runner / biker friendly. Would definitely recommend this lovely beach cottage!
