Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. "The Eastleigh was an easy base for a few days away: two minutes from the pier and beach but tucked far enough up Scarbrough Avenue that you don’t hear arcade noise at night. We rolled in late morning, snagged an on-street space outside and never moved the car again. The room was spotless and practical—ceiling fan for stuffy evenings, mini-fridge with cold water and the check-in took seconds. The Wi-Fi was usable but a bit flaky, dropping in and out, so fine for quick checks but not much more....

"We really enjoyed our stay, our room was clean and even had a little extra heater provided which was a nice touch. Everywhere was clean, the breakfast was delicious and cooked lovely. The bar was very nice too with board games and a nice selection of drinks. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again. Thank you! "

The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"Had a wonderful stay at The Dabbling Duck. Our room was lovely and clean with a great view of the Village Green. The staff, who were extremely busy serving Sunday lunch were very polite and helpful. We had a booking in the restaurant, where the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. Over all, this is a stunning place to stay and chill, absolutely loved it, 10/10."
