Close your eyes and picture a postcard-perfect mountain cabin, tucked into the towering trees and sitting right on the river - now open them, because you’ve found it with Coal Creek Cabin. This gorgeous family-friendly getaway is surrounded by miles of forest service land and boasts close proximity to all Snoqualmie has to offer, including restaurants, shopping, and ski hills, all within just a few miles. If you want to stay even closer to home, you can snowmobile or hike starting from the house to hundreds of acres of snow parks, state land, and Gold Creek Pond trails.

At home, spend time reveling in the mountain views while you grill out or soak in the hot tub on the waterfront deck. Inside, you’ll find a wide-open space, with soaring, pine-paneled ceilings, enormous picture windows, and abundant natural light. Coal Creek Cabin has an automatic backup generator amenity for when the power goes out - it runs the entire house and hot tub. Keep the crew fed with the assistance of the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a full suite of stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you need to whip up a feast. Grab a bite at the dining table or a quick snack at the breakfast bar, then head out to explore.

When you return, cuddle up with cocoa in front of the gas fireplace or play foosball and shuffleboard in the game room. Soothe your muscles in the oversized soaker tub after a long day or use the convenient walk-in shower to rinse off. Pop in a DVD from the on-hand library; stream the latest release; or use the free WiFi to post the day’s pics to social media. Call it a night in either the comfortable bedroom or the loft, and drift off dreaming of your first - and next - postcard-perfect day.

Home Away from Home

This was the perfect cozy cabin for our family. And it was one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in. We loved our stay. No complaints at all!

Scenery and Creek

We very much enjoyed the scenery and sitting in the River during 93 degree weather. It was gorgeous and refreshing despite not having good access to the water.

Beautiful and fun home

While home is loud due to highway, it was fairly easy to tune it out because of all the beautiful and fun features of this home and property! We look forward to future visits here.

Beautiful Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed here a couple weeks ago for our honeymoon. The home was clean and well equipped. We absolutely loved the hot tub and the beautiful views. You do hear some noise from the road, but that didn't bother us. The surround sound speakers inside and out allowed us to play music. Property management was responsive to our request on a missing tv remote. We hiked nearby in Cle Elum and beautiful Gold Creek pond just up the road! (a highlight of our trip!). Beds were comfy as well. Thanks for a wonderful honeymoon.

Great, Cozy, Comfortable, Convenient, Isolated, but traffic noise and vibrations are for real

Renters beware, the traffic noise and house vibrations are for real. Not unbearable, but as tranquil and peaceful it looks, and it is, don't get me wrong, the traffic noise never stops and the bedrooms to vibrate when the trucks go by. The house is very cool, cozy, well appointed, and clean. Water pressure is a little low, but that expected due to its isolated, but convenient location. We tried to fill the bathtub but it would take at least 30 minutes to fill so we gave up. Could use a few more kitchen staples and a can opener.

Mouse house

So many problems not sure where to begin, house was full of trash cans full, dirty dishes, carpet is so fowl u don't want to take ur shoes off, couch has nasty fluid stains all over it, then what was suppose to be a river with a hot tub was nothing more then a small creek and the hot tub was do moldy that u couldn't even stand on the porch from the smell, not to mention the sound from I 90 is so loud u can't even think staright, they came and emptied the trash and tried to clean the hot tub however it's so stained and moldy they didn't even replace tstraight that it was still unusable, then to top it off there's mice living behind the fireplace and who knows how many rodents, so disappointing and absolutely fowl this place needs major help

Trying to Maintain Positivity

Wow. Where do I start? We were able to accomplish our overall goal, which was a local(ish) long weekend getaway. The house was well equipped and had about every possible pot/pan/kitchen accessory you could ever need. We shared the house with another family and thought the multiple levels would work great for a kid area, then two rooms for parents. The "kids room" in the basement does not have a door. Huge issue because if you were anywhere else in the house you could hear the basement and vice versa. The "kid room" also has an exterior door, thankfully we have good listeners, but I would not recommend allowing children to sleep in this room unsupervised in the summer when they could just walk out the door and slip into the creek. It was advertised that there was a pack and play in the house but not that we could find. Moving upstairs the master is an open loft style. Same issue, no door, no privacy, and open to the rest of the house so sleeping was a no go. My final complaint is that this house is DIRECTLY next to the interstate. The interstate was SO LOUD and close it actually shakes the beds. The very upstairs is the worst, we thought there were earthquakes the first night. Earthquakes. LOL. That's how bad it was. The noise was terrible. You could not be outside and enjoy it and while inside we had to keep the TV at about level 80 to hear anything coming out of it. We are easy going people, but good grief, what a horrible location. Beds were decent, as was bedding and towels. One of the things we were excited about was the shuffle board, but it was missing most of the pieces so we could not play. Thankfully, the saving graces were the hottub on the deck and sauna in the primary suite bathroom. For the price the location gets a HUGE thumbs down. Looking back, no wonder the location is not listed until after you make the reservation.
