A beautiful little boutique hotel, owned and operated by the nicest people you'll ever meet. They were ready to do anything they could to make our stay as pleasant as could be. Everything is clean and tidy like new, I give them 6 stars, maybe 7!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Large room and bathroom, especially large shower area. Comfortable bed. Plenty of storage. High quality furnishings and finishes. Helpful friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Two minutes from metro and then two stops into the centre. On a direct line to bus station and airport.

The Magic Castle is a great place to stay. It's clean, the building is cool, the staff is completely helpful and personable. The rooms aren't luxurious in any way, but they are clean and worth what you paid for. The place is just down the street from the a metro stop (European Union), a mall, and it's a relatively short walk to the bustling grounds and nightlife of NDK (the National Palace of Culture).

Lovely modern hotel, great location

Excellent accommodation, large room, towels changed daily, staff friendly and helpful. Good location close to the Metro. Breakfast was adequate but could be improved with the addition of a small number of food items, such as porridge, Greek yoghurt and muesli. Fruit was provided in the form of an apple, perhaps two or even three alternatives such as a banana or orange would have been most welcome. Little variety if you have a stay longer than a day

The property was in a central location close to shops pharmacies etc. The Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Magic place if you are visiting Sophia.

Great value for money

Modern hotel located about 15 minutes walk from the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is perfectly safe to walk around at night. Attentive and helpful staff. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. WiFi speed is fast in the room. My 9nly criticism was the breakfast was limited in choice. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

Scamming attempt!

Beware of the restaurant! We had a bill of 24 Lev and as the waiter didn't want to accept payment by card (Visa, Maestro), we wanted to pay in Euro - the waiter told us that the Euro total would be 20€, which equals over 40 Lev! That's almost twice what we owned them, even though the menu card showed the Euro prices - according to the menu card, we would've had to pay roughly 12€. We pointed that out to the waiter and asked him if he had made a mistake, but he insisted that we'd have to pay 20€. We then went to take additional cash from a nearby ATM. This incident is very unfortunate as we really did enjoy the hotel otherwise and would have returned if it wasn't for this very poor scamming attempt. However, they did order us a taxi in the early morning and got some breakfsat ready for us at 4am. It's a nice hotel (thus the good overall rating) but just stay away from its restaurant.
