"Breakfast could have more options like smoked salmon. Apartments do not have hair dries. It is a great retreat. A bit distant to flam but the driving along The zigzagged tunnels is fun."

"I had a room with a view of the waterfall. Amazing! The room was very comfortable, the breakfast had many options. It was so relaxing, and a nice walk to the Viking village. Coffee machines and a fridge in the room were nice amenities. "

"Hotel was very friendly and clean. Breakfast was very good as well. No lift. On our last night there was an issue with the electricity in our room but it was handled very well by the staff, we were given another room on the same floor immediately while they looked into the issue."

"Very beautiful hotel with an amazing breakfast selection. Staff was very helpful. It was a little warm in the room so we had to open the window and the door to get a good ( cooler) breeze coming through. I understand they’ve been experiencing record temps. The hours of the restaurant were puzzling. It wasn’t open Friday for lunch, but was not on Monday. We ate dinner Friday night but it wasn’t open Sunday, so we found somewhere else to eat. Overall I would still give it 5/5 stars as a great place to stay in Forde. Very central as well to shopping and right next to the bus depot. "

"Very sweet girl efficiently checked us in. Our room had a sliding door and faced the fjord. The view from there was AMAZING! They also have a very nice (and large) lawn area with tables and chairs. The weather was nice, so we sat outside with a drink from their bar and just soaked up the view of the fjord and the mountains. Good breakfast buffet, also. This is the only place you should stay in Sogndal. "
