A-Frame Cabin between Kenai & Kasilof Rivers
3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft (listed as bedroom 4, but without privacy), 2 full bathrooms, fully furnished, newly remodeled A-frame cabin, perfectly situated between the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers for easy fishing access. 10 minutes to hospital for travel nurses. As the cabin is situated in a wooded, pond front area, wildlife is often seen nearby, including moose, carribou, eagles and sandhill cranes.
Comfortably sleeps 12 in beds, not on air mattresses or couches. Rustic finishes accent modern amenities for the true, Alaskan experience in comfort. Each bedroom has a faux fireplace heater, thoughtful bedding, and light blocking curtains. The newly finished kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes, utinsels, spices, coffee maker, and more. The dining table allows for seating for 10, but additional chairs are provided. The living area contains comfortable seating and a smart TV.
There is a full size freezer available to store fish after having it processed. Privacy with easy highway access and a convenience store at the entry to the driveway.
Help yourself to our everbearing raspberries on the left side yard. They are delicious and usually ready to eat by mid-June or early July and produce until September, usually.
Note that due to steep stairs, this home may not be suitable for children under 2 or anyone with a mobility issues. Also PLEASE NOTE: ceiling height in kitchen is approximately 6'5, which may be too short for some individuals. My 6'1 husband is not bothered by it.
Please reserve for the accurate number of guests. The price changes as more guests are added in order to make the cabin affordable to small groups. The guest count changes the amount of linens used, wear and tear, and cleaning necessary, so guests beyond 2 incur a fee of $25 per guest per night. Thank you for understanding.
Cameras are installed primarily for security between stays and are not consistently monitored. No cameras are placed inside, or with any view of the interior of the property. Recordings may be reviewed to verify compliance with rental policies. 1. facing driveway 2. facing garage from dining room

Sometimes you get lucky and we did here. The grounds are private and serene. The grandkids loved the upstairs bunk beds and we had everything we needed. I would definitely rent again.
We loved our time at the cabin! We loved the homemade cookies we got on arrival, they were so yummy! There was also every amenity you would need there. We also were able to see a moose in the front yard! Will be back so soon:)
This cabin fit all of us nicely, the dining room and kitchen had plenty of space. The host was very responsive and helpful. Being able to use the wood stove made for a great stay cause it was chilly out!
This was a great home and very well equipped. It felt very homey and comfortable. Very clean, an awesome location and the beds/pillows were great.
Very private location that gave us the Alaska experience we had hoped for.
The hosts were very helpful and kind.
Highly recommend this property!
We are Alaskans who were doing a short staycay. This was the perfect place for our needs. We so enjoyed the wood stove and the ambiance it brings. The home was very clean and well-equipped. The master bed was very comfortable. Erin, the host, was very responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to Kenai.
This property more than exceeded our expectations. The host go to great lengths to see that you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. We are already wanting to come back! Rent
Nice cozy cabin. Beautiful property with ponds in the back. Three moose came through one morning. The rental provides everything for a comfortable stay. The host provided a cooler and fly rods if needed and checked on us a few times for any needs. . There was firewood available for using the stove. Great location. Easy access to town and surrounding rivers. We would stay stay here again.
We stayed for 4 nights and our entire stay was awesome. Erin was great and there were no communication probs. She is attentive!
I can’t say enough abt this property. We absolutely loved it. The home is charming and nicely decorated. There were some creative folks that finished this home. There are many
unique details that make it so special. The stairway is so cool. Lots of handmade wood finishing.
We also loved the location. Seems like it’s in the middle of many things so easy to get to what you plan. We did a river fish and a fly over that were a short distance away. Homer was a little over an hour so not far away.
The property has everything you will need. Book this VRBO-you will not regret it!
Great location and a really coolproperty. Conveniently located near Soldotna and easy drive to Homer. Great hosts who put a lot of special touches to make our stay memorable.
Our stay was perfect! The cabin was awesome and in the perfect spot. Our host was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we possibly needed. I recommend staying there.
We stayed here for 3 nights with our 14 year old son for our fishing trip. Honestly, it was better than we expected! Not only was check in super easy but the place had more than necessary amenities! Plus tons of bed options. Super clean house and the easiest access to our fishing spot on the Kasilof River! We accidentally left one of our bags and the owners were super quick to let us know and meet up with us to pick it up. Would totally stay here again!
We enjoyed the accommodations and the cabin was comfortable and we had everything we needed for the 4 night stay. Thanks for providing the perfect cabin!
We have done around a dozen VBRO''s. This was hands down the best. It was obvious our host cared about our stay and experience, including having kiddos! The cleanliness was superb. We are a cooking family and it was a well-stocked kitchen. Truly enhanced our time and experience in Alaska!
So Scenic - Comfortable Cabin - Convenient Location
The Cabin Between the Rivers was a perfect home away from home for us. The cabin has a wonderfully stocked kitchen that made eating in so pleasant. The dining table was perfect for family meals and games. The full size freezer held all the fish we hauled in during our visit. Beds were comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed. The property is tucked away in the woods, and the views around the property are stunning. Plus you are only few minutes away from Soldotna, and you have a convenience store that you can walk to for essentials (ice cream, beer, etc). We would definitely come back!!
Perfect rental for our group of 6 middle class adults! We were in Soldotna to do some salmon fishing and to enjoy the area. This home went beyond our expectations with our welcome s’more supplies on the counter and Swedish fish! We enjoyed plenty of cut wood at the bonfire every night and even saw a moose right on the property as seen in the pic! The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils and a gas grill was on the deck for use. We cooked all of our meals at home and seasonings for cooking and Pam was even available. Coffee and K cups were even supplied. This property was secluded, but yet just 10 min from the main part of town. We fished at Swiftwater public access site and had great success during the salmon run! The exterior of the cabin needs some attention, but the interior met every one of our needs plus more! Plenty of towels, clean interior, and washer and dryer was great to have! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
